This is a great opportunity to get to know how italians in the countryside live and work. The food is all local and we were always cooking something from their culture. A lot of pasta and wine for sure.

Working with Pompilio was a very positive experience. I learned a lot about plant growth, fruit harvesting, olive oil production, and other related tasks. The work itself is not too complicated, and the workday goes by fairly quickly. I really enjoyed living with him, his mother, and the other volunteers—highly recommended!

Mi experiencia no fue buena. Las condiciones no coincidían con lo acordado. La casa estaba muy muy sucia y las tareas de limpieza eran duras, sin productos básicos como guantes. La habitación tenía mucho polvo y pasé frío sin acceso a calefacción. Estuve sola, sin otros voluntarios. La comunicación fue difícil (el anfitrión solo habla italiano), hubo malentendidos. No se respetaron los días libres y recibí mensajes exigentes, incluso “esto no es un albergue”. El lugar está aislado, con transporte limitado e inestable. El día que me fui no se me ayudó y tuve que esperar horas para salir de ahí.
