A perfect experience, the work was relatively simple and both my fellow volunteers and the guests were incredibly friendly. If I had the time I'd be happy to extend my volunteering period. What I loved most was that it was on the 5th floor so I could get some exercise every day hahaha

I'm leaving with so many beautiful memories. Somehow, the most beautiful things happened here. The people I met, the conversations, the little moments, and all the kindness I received made this place feel so much more than just a hostel. Everyone here was incredibly caring and helpful, especially when I needed it the most.

I had such a lovely experience volunteering here. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and comfortable, and everyone was kind, friendly, and always willing to help. I'm very grateful for the time I spent here and for all the memories I'm taking with me. I would definitely recommend this place to other volunteers!

I did one month of volunteering here in May, loved it, and decided to come back for another month. Again, I really enjoyed it. The workload can be a bit heavy at times, but the tasks themselves are easy to handle. Mostly reception work and keeping the hostel clean. Since there are usually 3 people per shift, it's manageable and the work flows well.

What makes this place special is the people, the other volunteers, some amazing guests who passed through, and Maja, who's a great host. On top of that, Belgrade is a city with a really good vibe, which just makes the whole experience even better

I really liked this city. My experience was very good. The best part is the friendships you make along the way, I hope to return soon.

This was my first real volunteering experience. Overall, it was very positive, despite some initial adaptation hurdles and some communication breakdowns.
Pros:
Simple work and fair schedule; tasks are clearly documented.
Maja, the owner, is easily reachable online.
The kitchen is well-equipped.
Cons:
Hosting 30+ people over 3 floors makes it feel more like a dormitory.
It can be chaotic, but issues are manageable

My volunteering experience in Serbia was short, but very nice. The other volunteers were very kind, and I met people from different countries, which was a great experience. I also had time to explore the city and the tasks were simple.

Great stay overall! I love Belgrade and some of the volunteers I met there became friends.

Even though it wasn't my first experience on WP, handling guests from several countries was challenging and developed me as a person. Maya is a flexible host, and communication was key for me. If you're going there, please don't take advantage of Maya's kindness! Also, make sure to understand clearly from Day 1 what you need to do in terms of reception and cleaning and ask other volunteers to help you if you're not sure about something.
