I had the most amazing time at the hostel as a social host. Isuru, Elsa, Harsha and Lakshman were so wonderful and welcoming as hosts. Isuru really helped me out and was very cooperative and flexible with dates, locations etc. I usually had most of the day to myself which allowed me to do my work and towards the evening i would round everyone up for fun and games. I saw some amazing places in Ella and Mirissa with the other guests that I might have not been able to do solo. I'm very grateful for the time I've spent here! 💚

I had a very good experience doing this volunteering in Ella. Since I arrived, all the staff made me feel super welcome. They were always in the best disposition to help, share a while, talk and give me very good information about the area. I was doing yoga classes in the mornings and, some days, also in the afternoons. There was a kitchen where I could prepare some of my meals and the breakfast every morning was very complete. A special thanks to Elsa, Isuru, Harsha, Andrew, Bubzy and also to the breakfast team! for the good vibes, the conversations and the laughs :)

I volunteered as a Party Promoter, helping with event management and photography. The working hours were flexible, giving me plenty of time to explore and hike in Ella. The staffs were incredibly friendly, and every evening was full of fun and laughter.
My hosts, Elsa and Isuru, were kind, supportive, and always guided me whenever I needed help. I enjoyed the experience so much that after my first week, I decided to extend my volunteering for another week.

This place was absolutely perfect. The manager of the all the locations, Isuru, is amazing and so cool. Elsa, the manager of the Ella hostel (where I was) is so cool and kind. The staff is funny, kind, and down to hang, and the location is perfect. Constantly so much fun stuff going on! I wish I could have stayed longer. I taught yoga and it was so chill- once a day, and I usually taught at night too for fun. Breakfast delicious, the restaurant downstairs is FAB and the team downstairs is so fun and chill. If you have the chance to go here, GO! You will only leave with the best memories❤️❤️❤️

This was my first experience with worldpackers, and I'am so happy it was. I can't describe how incredible volunteering at the hostel was. A big thankyou to the crew for helping me with everything and making this an adventure I will never forget.I would definitely recommend this!:) I had a lot of trouble with my bags not arriving, and I got the help I needed and could always rely on them for help. They always made me feel welcome and never like I was asking to much. I could write so much more but my one advice is just do it! Send the application and have fun with the hangover family:))
