I enjoyed my time at the hostel, the working hours were respected and the hostel itself was spacious. It's surrounded by rich nature and stunning views that filled me with gratitude. The staff and other volunteers created a unique the hostel community that felt like home. Overall I recommend it, feel free to message for more details or any questions you may have :)

I really recommend this hostel If you are searching an escape from the city this is the perfect place. Everything is perfect here, from the receptionists, to the tasks that you have to do, to the area where it is located, everything. The tasks are easy and the working hours have always been as described in the application. The only thing that you have to keep in mind is the 40mins walk that you have to do to arrive at the bus stop, but you will kinda get used to it :)

This was my first volunteering experience, and it was definitely worth it. The working hours were as agreed. Sometimes, due to the workload of the day, it could take a little longer to finish the tasks, but overall, everything was fine.

The receptionists were very kind and welcoming, and they made you feel comfortable from the beginning.

The only thing I would suggest to management is providing bicycles, at least for volunteers, as the walk from the hostel to the bus stop takes around 40 minutes, and the bus only comes once an hour. Other than that, I had a great experience.

I spent a month at the hostel and it was an excellent experience. The place and the surrounding area are beautiful. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We also had a lot of free time to go on beautiful hikes for example. I highly recommend this experience!

I volunteered in the hostel for a month and it went too quick! Everything was great, a great team to work with, hours agreed on and respected, plenty of free time to explore/hike,etc. I already miss the mountain view and everyone and I hope to come back :)

I had an amazing time and honestly wish I'd stayed longer. The work hours are fair and the timetable is well organised. You have plenty of time to explore the surrounding areas so I'd definitely recommend this experience if you like to hike. Going to Bray or Dublin for the day is also easy. The full time staff are really welcoming and I made some great memories with them as well as the other volunteers. It's nice having cats around too. Shout out to my boy chin-chin the most special of all cats.

I had a truly wonderful volunteering experience here and i felt welcomed in a very warm atmosphere from the very first day. Everyone here are so kind, and genuine to make you feel at home immediately. The work is light and the agreed hours are always respected, this leaves plenty of free time to relax and fully enjoy the experience. The place is sorrounded by nature so sometimes, because of the weather, is a little difficult to reach the first town center but thanks to the beautiful surroundings and the lovely people, it never felt like a downside and I enjoyed so much time inside as well.

I loved my time here, everyone from the permanent staff (Fatima, Anna & Marta) was very friendly, welcoming and helpful, the other volunteers were so sweet and easy to get along with. It was a joy to meet and hang out with all of them! The work is fair and as expected. The place itself is lovely, so nice waking up and seeing the green hills every day and going out for hikes as often as possible. It's remote and a bit of a walk to the bus stop, but I didn't mind it in the least, it makes it very peaceful and close to nature and it gives you an excuse for regular walks in the countryside.

My experience with Worldpackers and my host in Ireland was simply wonderful. Even though my English was basic, they encouraged me to learn and were always very kind to me. They made me feel like a special guest, not just a volunteer. Their support and warmth made my trip unforgettable, and I am very grateful for every moment I experienced.

This experience was incredible and I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone who'd apply. The hours are reasonable, the work expected is professional, and the team is wonderful (shoutout to the two receptionists!) While getting there is a hike without a car, I've never felt lonely in spite of the secluded location and windy nights. I got to meet people from all over the world here and I greatly enjoyed the cultural exchange we had at the hostel or on outings to Bray. The sense of community in the team of volunteers was standout and I can't wait to come back. You won't regret applying for the hostel.
