As our first worldpacker host we didn't know what to expect, neither my friend or I had any idea what it would be like. I can confidently say Andres was the best first host we could have asked for. He entrusted us with more challenging tasks (shearing sheep), and met us with lots of patience, making accomplishment much more rewarding. And when we weren't working he made sure to let us see the local agricultural culture, as well as make delicious food. The animals were also the most welcoming, especially la mora. Overall it was an amazing experience helping out on this sustainable farm.

It is a great thing that Andres is a father, because if he wasn't he would have to be a teacher or something similar - working with Andres he went to great lengths to explain holistically everything we dealt with. Probably the best first host we could have hoped for, great cook, productive and rewarding work, local engagement, Andres is a lovely, kind and curious man and we loved our stay.

Andres and his family gave us the chance to see how they grow the farm in a sustainable way. We really enjoyed our stay here because the family was super welcoming and nice. They introduced us to Chilean cuisine and culture everyday with teaching us how to make several traditional dishes and told us many stories about the country. The work on the blueberry fields was never hard but fun and enjoyable. We've learnt a lot about hummus, planting and the life on the farm during the volunteering. I'd always highly recommend this place to anyone who like working in nature with lovely people:)

Andrés is the most spectacular host we have met. He is warm, intelligent and very generous. The activities are very varied and you learn a lot from him; he teaches with patience and quality. The working hours and days off are respected. Undoubtedly the best were the delicacies he prepared for us and the after-dinner conversations. He is always with a smile and he is very calm. A huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we hope to meet more people like you!

We, Camila and João, had a very nice experience with Andres and Carolina, his wife. Both were very kind and welcoming hosts, they made us feel comfortable from the first day. The work was mainly pruning Legacy blueberries for the winter, and Andres always explained everything with a lot of patience and dedication. It is clear that he enjoys teaching and sharing what he knows, both about cultivation and about Chile and the area. Additionally, he took us to Salto del Laja, a very beautiful experience. The house is comfortable, the atmosphere is calm, and we also met his son, who was very kind. ❤️

It's an incredible experience! My partner and I stayed only a week, but it was a week full of learning and great conversations. Andreas is thorough with the tasks and makes you feel comfortable asking questions or giving suggestions. The house is comfortable and the food is very good, and Andreas enjoys sharing these moments to tell stories about travel and about Chile's typical dishes. I recommend it!

An unforgettable experience! We learned a lot with Andres about soil regeneration and a ton of other things related to crops, animals, Chilean culture, and travel as well!! Also, Andres is very kind and didactic - a true teacher - and the house is super comfortable. A very good experience!
