This was truly a special experience. Its an authentic view of the organization away from the city. The host family was amazing! I loved the home cooked meals with a wide variety of food I got to try for the first time:). After day one you fall in love with the kid. You see the change that is trying to made to not only to impact future generations but also the local communitites. I enjoyed speaking with the family that hosted and learn about the local life. It really is a good place to unwind after long traveling. It is 3 hours a day 5 days a week with a market within biking distance

Poeuy is a great host and really cares about the kids he teaches. The whole family is sweet and kind and easy to talk to and the surrounding areas were really fun you explore. The food tasted great and was fresh from the market five minutes down the road and I never went hungry the whole time I was there. Hours are reasonable and the kids are fun to work with and I thought it was a real rewarding experience. Traveling around Southeast Asia for a month prior, this volunteer experience was a welcome relief to always being on the move. It was easy to settle in and a truly relaxing environment.

I really enjoyed my experience at ROTC. We taught children of different ages from little children to mid teens. It's enjoyable to be able to pick some of the things we want to teach to the students. There are 3 classrooms and depending on the amount of people, you typically work with at least one other person. 3 classes total but there's breaks in between so total the organization time is about 2.5-3hrs per day (starting at 4pm). Meals & drinking water included in the price! Sleeping accommodation is overall nice and the kids are sweet! It is close to a temple and a few shops. Thank you ROTC!!

Pouey, his wife and his daughters are all kind and welcoming individuals. The children are really the best part of the experience. You should keep in mind this place is the organization so you will need a tuktuk anytime you want to go somewhere, however you can walk to the market. It was a really good experience despite the extra cost.
