Program Details
We don't offer tent, only a camping site, so you should bring your own tent if you wish to. Otherwise, we have a charming chalet available, complete with a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms. Additionally, we offer two bedrooms in the volunteer's house (my house is linked to the volunteer's one).
- For digital nomads, the bedrooms can be used as a home office (likewise, the outside area). The internet is fast and reliable (satellite provider).
- There is a parking area for campervans/motorhomes, specific areas for camping, and one chalet with one bedroom, one house with two bedrooms, and an additional bedroom in my own house — the houses and chalet have private kitchens and bathrooms.
Activities & Shift
We would expect 3-5 hours/day, 5 days a week (2 days off), and we expect to stay at least four weeks
Exciting Developments that you could help with:
- Eco-Friendly House: Be part of constructing a self-sustaining house with a 30,000-liter rainwater cistern, biodigester for waste treatment and gas generation, and a photovoltaic solar system.
- Fish Pond: Help develop our new 15x20 meter pond for fish farming.
- Usage of rainwater: Collect the water from the house, barn, and greenhouses' roofs to conduct it to the pond, avoiding the waste of over 100,000 liters of rainwater being consumed by the greenhouses and gardens.
- Expanded Cattle Facilities: We are building a new facility to accommodate up to 100 cattle, including a milking barn for internal consumption and a horse stable.
- Horse Stable and Training Arena: Assist with our horse care and training arena development.
- Dog Kennel: Meet our Border Collie, a herding star who will guide the livestock across the farm.
