The work is really chill, and you get plenty of free time to connect with the other volunteers, or to go hiking or explore the area. I also got to spend my birthday there, and it was a lot of fun. I had a great experience here! The work was very relaxed and varied — mainly irrigating corn, helping teach kids English, cleaning, and cooking. Alan and Dionny were both very kind and welcoming, and they had tons of great hiking recommendations for the surrounding areas, which I really appreciated. It's also a great place to meet other backpackers and hikers. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this experience:)

I had a very good experience! The work is very chill, mostly weeding, harvesting and irrigating the corn. Dionny and Allan are very good hosts, they always make sure you are well fed (very good food) and are very kind souls. You have the opportunity to da lot of hikes on the surronding mountains and they are very chill about it. I actually hurt my knee there and they were very kind, letting me stay at the house helping with lunch instead of working at the fields so me knee could heal :) Thanks a lot! Highly recommend :)

This was such an amazing experience! Dionny and Alan are so kind and welcoming, the work is very manageable, and there are so many beautiful hikes near by. There is a lot of free time, and it was so enjoyable just walking around Carhuaz/Tinco and spending time with the other volunteers. The food was delicious and honestly I had no complaints!

Absolutely beautiful place and people to with, Dionny and Alan were more than helpful with navigating through the local towns and hikes. Provided amazing food and great conversations, if you come here be prepared to make a tough decision if you would like to stay an extra couple of days or another week. Absolutely amazing first experience with Worldpackers. Absolute must if you are traveling through Peru.

I had an amazing time in Tinco. Dionny is the best host and I loved the two weeks I spent there. The work is interesting and I learnt a lot about working in the chacra, purvian food ( all the food is AMAZING ) and got to improve my Spanish. Overall probably the best work away I've done , 100% recommend this experience!!

Marta is a very hardworking and responsible young woman. She helped clean up the corn field. We cooked together, and she made a cake. A very good girl. We highly recommend her :). Atte: Dionny and his family.
