Volunteering at the hostel has been by far my favourite experience ever ! The staff was really welcoming and nice to me, I met so many amazing people during these 2 months. Of course, living and working in a hostel can be exhausting sometimes, but it's definitely worth it. The accomodation was good, the location safe and good too, and the activities you do as a volunteer are funny. I thank everyone for this amazing experience, and especially Phil and Ashton who gave me the chance to volunteer in Cape Town. That's not a goodbye, see you someday ☀️

I'm so grateful for my time volunteering at never @ home. The experience was incredible, and the people I met and worked alongside made it even more special. Everyone was welcoming, supportive, and inspiring, and I truly felt lucky to be part of it all. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to fully enjoy Cape Town and connect with amazing people from around the world!

My time at the hostel was super entertaining and gave me the time and space to meet amazing people and explore the beautiful city of Cape Town. I worked as a photographer, so my tasks were lined up before I arrived, and changes to the event plans were never a problem. I stayed in both hostels, and each has its own qualities. Just know that you'll have to enjoy every hour both places are really lively and located in busy areas, so the noise can make an impression on your stay. I'd definitely recommend this experience to anyone thinking about volunteering in Cape Town!

I loved my experience in cape town and at n@h. Especially the other volunteers were amazing and I got to meet so many great people. Most of the staff is welcoming (a few could be a bit nicer). The room isn't really like advertised one of the guest rooms but since you only share with one other volunteer its very chill. We did have a cockroach infestation in the beginning but as soon as I contacted Phil it was dealt with. The hours working in the bar were fair and it was a great opportunity to meet new people. Overall I would definitely recommend it to everyone looking for a fun and social place

My first Worldpackers experience and I had a wonderful 2 months with the hostel in Cape Town. My work here involved taking guests on hikes up Table mountain and lions head, as well as the Saturday market trip and taking pictures of the bar events in Randy's. You will work alot with Phil and Ashton, both of whom are very friendly and welcoming! They are also flexible and understanding if you need to swap shifts with other volunteers as you're also here to experience the city! I had an amazing time with the hostel and am very grateful for my time here, thank you ❤️

Volunteering at the hostel was an awesome experience! I helped out with tours and spent lots of time with guests and the other volunteers, it felt like we were a little family. The staff was also super welcoming from day one. There was a great balance between helping out and having free time to explore Cape Town. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun, social place to volunteer!

This was my first experience with worldpackers, and before I went I was very scared that I wouldn't find any friends or enjoy the work. Now, leaving Capetown in tears, I can look back on my 2 months here with so much joy and a lifetime worth of good memories. The people here, from the other volonteers to the staff, are all so welcoming that i felt at home from the first day. My manager was always flexible with my hours of work so that I never missed out on activities with friends, and I could really make the most out of my time here. I'd recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.

If anyone is solo ,hesitant , scared to take a risk to come away to the beautiful Cape Town , the hostel (despite the name ) will offer you the most homely experience you could get ! . After my 2 months here I've never once felt lonely and felt so supported by the amazing team :) it has been the experience of a lifetime and I will never forget the people , memories and fun I've had here.
