I had an amazing time here I extended my stay. I learned so much about Thai culture, cooking, sustainable practices and working with clay! The host is very inspiring and I am lucky to have had this experience. I am truly changed for the better.

Not many words can describe the experience I've had here so I'll just list the things I miss. Pi Oi (a good woman), Pi Ban (a good man), Pi Pum (the best dog), Pi Noi (a very hard worker), Pi Sauce (almost best dog), Pi Nouha (a wise woman), Pi Elis (the woman who talks uncontrollably), Pi Coni (the artistically expressive woman) and the traditional home-cooked food (quite good indeed).

Absolutely amazing!! I returned here for a second time with only 6 weeks away and I'm already planning my third visit! What you see is what you get. You're out in nature, doing the described work for 3 hrs each weekday morning, provided with lunch and dinner, and lots of free time to explore. Opportunities to practice Tai Chi and mediation each morning, take ceramics workshops, get Thai massage, learn about Thai cooking, and so much more. Everyone is welcomed with open arms and made to feel at home. If you're into art, being outdoors, looking to make a positive impact, what're you waiting for?

So grateful to be welcomed into Pi Noi's home, as it was such a special experience. I felt like I could really experience Chiang Mai with a lovely Thai community, and as my first solo travelling and volunteering experience, it was fantastic. I felt very welcome, and getting to know Pi Noi, Pi Oi, Pi Bahn and Nouha truly made me feel like part of a family for 10 days. For the 3 hours of work each day I was sifting clay, rolling it into slabs and preparing for Pi Noi's upcoming exhibition. We spent our free time being introduced to local cafes, markets, temples and locals. Highly recommend!

Empty space was an incredible experience built around family style living that made me feel so at home. The cooking was amazing, workload is doable and different everyday, and the location give you more of a local experience in Thailand. Over all I’m so grateful for the Empty space family to have had me and I would recommend this experience to any Worldpackers volunteer!

The home is a really beautiful and quiet place surrounded by nature. It was my first worldpackers experience and It was really perfect for that. I felt very welcome and everyone is really kind and open. There is not much to do around the area so it is the perfect place to slow down, recharge and learn about the thai culture. Nouha suggested activities we could do together so there was always something to look forward to and it never felt boring. The work mainly focused on helping in the ceramic studio. Pi Noi's work and her story are truly inspiring. Thank you to everyone✨

Recommend!! Pi noi, Pi oi, Nouha, and everyone here were incredibly kind and wonderful. Of course, I can't forget the adorable dogs and cats! the home itself is beautiful and amazing. Pi oi's meals were absolutely the best. The work was not difficult at all. I helped organize the clay needed for the ceramic exhibition preparations, did some gardening. We cooked meals together, and every morning we learned Tai Chi. During free time, I could completely relax and enjoy myself. My time at this place was so peaceful, comfortable, and safe. I'd absolutely love to visit again.

I loved my experience at the home. The folks there are incredibly talented and welcoming, and I learned a lot. Pi Noi offers ceramics workshops. You are able to use their tools and studio as you wish, clay for a small, very reasonable cost. She also taught me about thai massage, and is open for chatting about various topics like herbal healing. Pi Oi is always up for a laugh, and she is a phenomenal cook. The meals she prepared were always delicious. The shared accommodation is spacious and homey. Overall, this experience was lovely and I recommend to anyone looking for calm learning.

Everyone at the home is extremely welcoming and accepting of everyone. The place is situated rurally and surrounded by the jungle, it's full of life and energy. The work exchange was fulfilling - spending weekday mornings helping with gardening and preparing clay. Pi Oi cooked the most amazing traditional Thai food for our lunches and dinners! Nouha (a long term volunteer there) showed us around coffee shops, temples, and markets. Pi Noi offered ceramics workshops, Thai massage, Tai Chi, and more. Weekends were spent in the city. Highly recommend if you like nature, art, animals, outdoors!

Thank you so much again to the whole the home team for this experience. I met some amazing people that will be in my heart forever. For the work part, I helped in the ceramics studio, helped cleaning up and did content creation for the medicinal massage clinic where Pi Noi also works. A special shout out to Pi Oi too who makes the best food. I really miss Coconut the cat and Khao Soi the dog. I wish I had more time to learn about ceramics but I'll definitely come back another time :-) I really miss all the wonderful people I met at the home & in San Pa Tong in general.
