The work of our volunteers is mainly do the activities with our guests and local people, always making sure that everyone is having the best time of their trip / day at the hostel!!
They will also be a support to our reception and bar, helping the staff to make sure that everything is good around the hostel.
Regarding the food our volunteers can have one meal for free at the bar on their working days, the other days they are freely to use our free food of our guest kitchen, however the breakfast is offered every day!
The shifts of our volunteer are 25 hours per week, 5 hours per day and 2 days off.
Some activities that we have: Beer Pong Night / Family Dinner / Karaoke Night / Paint & Sip
At the times that the volunteers are not spending time with our guests, they will be helping the reception with the control of the guest kitchen, making sure that everything is order and cleaned and help us with other kind of controls of the hostel.
- Always leave the room of the activity the same way that you found it
- You cannot enter at the reception and bar area
- Be organized in the room where you sleep with other guests
- Always be aware of your surroundings (dirty glasses/tables)
- You cannot bring people that do not stay in the hostel inside of your room nor areas that are just for guests
- You cannot drink, put on music, or make noise in the room
- Ensure that everyone else respects the rules
- Avoid making noise during the night
If we are not satisfied with the individual's work performance, attitude, or overall job quality, we will provide a 4-day notice for the person to seek alternative accommodation and vacate the hostel. Please note this.
