Our experience at the Malacara guesthouse was quite productive, despite the short time, but we managed to learn and enjoy the opportunity to get to know a little about the place. We had the privilege of waking up every day with a wonderful view of the canyons 😍 Saimon was a very attentive host, Dona Rô and Mr. Carlos were great and welcomed us very warmly at the guesthouse. Overall, the daily tasks are fairly light most of the time. During our day off we didn't manage to do more to go sightseeing because it rained. But the week we spent there was definitely worth it. We can only be grateful 🙏

Volunteering at Pausada a pousada, was my first experience and I started in the best way. I was welcomed very warmly by Rosângela and Carlos; throughout the stay I felt part of the family, humble, respectful and loving people! I also met Simon and Jana, who welcomed me and introduced me to the city! Regarding the work, it was calm, everything as agreed, I stayed a short time but the inn was full and during the week it was quieter, so there were very calm days and days with more work, but even so the working time did not exceed. Volunteering at Malacra Inn was an incredible experience; the tasks are calm and you can organize your own schedule, just like on days off. I stayed in a nice chalet with a view of the canyons.
I was very well received by Mr. Carlos and Rosângela, who are the ones who take care of the inn, and the owners Saimon and Jana; even from afar they are always on hand for whatever you need.
The inn is 2 km from town and there is no Uber, only taxis; keep that in mind if that is a problem for you.
My experience was fantastic, I hope to return!!

Honestly I had a very good experience in Praia Grande; I was able to do many hikes and see very beautiful places, that was what I enjoyed the most.
I was also lucky to share with a very cool companion, which made the day easier and more fun. My host was always very kind and attentive, as were the people in charge of the house, who looked after everything and made me feel comfortable from the first moment. Their family was very nice to me; you can tell there is a warm and good atmosphere. Overall I leave with a very positive experience, grateful for everything I lived 😁

My experience was wonderful! Saimon is a great person and the landlords of the house as well. I won't lie, the first days were difficult. Especially going to the market and then being able to cook. Sometimes they forgot that the kitchen was closed and it became complicated.
That was the only thing. RosAngela, Carlos and their family are very good people who always lent a hand. It was a great pleasure. I will always remember you all.
