This was my second time volunteering with the boat and it was absolutely amazing! All volunteers really are treated like family, the environment is welcoming, shifts are as described and the weekly allowance is great. I would definitely recommend to anyone!! Thank you Niko and Dea!

I had a great experience here. Niko and Dea were very welcoming, they showed a genuine care for how we were going, made sure we had everything we needed at our stay and that we understood what to do. The work was as described, it was engaging and fun. Boat tours were offered regularly and were a great part of the experience. The town is beautiful, with plenty of beach spots. The kitchen had everything you needed, laundry was free, wifi was good. We often went out for drinks with the other staff and volunteers, who were great company. Would highly recommend this place!

Thank you so much Dea, Niko, Joni, Liza, and the rest of the team for having me! The team are all so kind and made me feel at home for my entire stay. I have shared belly hurting laughter, stories, and more with everyone at the company and it has truely been one of the best experiences I've had. The job requires you to be flexible, but the job itself is very easy. The flyer shifts were very easy and you're never truely alone, the team are all very supportive. The boat shifts are awesome, and I loved being on the boat with Joni, it was always a blast. Thank you so much to the team again!

I absolutely loved my experience with the boat. The hosts Niko and Dea were incredibly welcoming and made Himare feel like a home away from home. The work is exactly as described and super easy, and working as a tour guide on the boats is so fun. I loved meeting and making friends with all the captains as well as other locals and of course the other volunteers. The apartment is basic but has everything you need: washing machine, stovetop, kettle, fridge etc. The best first volunteering experience and 3 weeks flew in the blink of an eye. Thank you!!!

CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH! 🤩🤩🤩 I had the absolute BEST experience and even extended my stay because I couldn't bring myself to leave 🥲 Boat Tours are incredibly fun! 🚤 Flyer shifts are very easy! Having a staff apartment is wonderful (plus it's super close to the beach) The food allowance (instead of cooked meals) allows for personal flexibility with your food which I liked & having water provided is so helpful! Beautiful location and stunning sunsets 🌅 Big thanks to Dea, Niko, Joni and Liza for welcoming me into the family, miss you already & I cannot wait to return next season hopefully!! 🫶🏼

Will always recommend this experience! Niko, Dea, & the entire staff welcomes you into their family and are incredibly inviting. the boat shifts are an amazing perk, you'll realistically get one or two a week depending on how many volunteers there are. the flyer/office shifts are easy and straightforward. the apartment is just steps away from the beach & the promenade so you're in an amazing location. 4 weeks wasn't long enough!!

I sadly had to leave early due to personal reasons, but I can see how this would be a really fun place to spend the summer! The boat time itself is so fun and a wonderful opportunity the make the most of the boat. Niko and Dea work very hard and you can see they put their whole hearts into their business. Their family are really lovely and the other locals here were also so welcoming, it's a very wholesome little town where everyone knows each other. The flyer shifts are super easy (if you like to be busy like me they can be rough lowkey tho). Have the best time and ask me anything xo

This was my first time volunteering and I couldn't recommend it more! The work consisted of handing out flyers, selling boat tours and being a tour guide on the boat. The shifts were easy and I wouldn't even count touring the boats as a shift because it was always so much fun. The accommodation was right across the street from the beach and the perfect location in Himare. I met locals and really got to immerse myself into the local culture during my time there. Hosts Niko and Dea were so accommodating and kind. I definitely will revisit Himare with many people to see again!

I cannot recommend this opportunity enough! This was my first volunteering position and Dea and Niko set the bar incredibly high!!! I extended my stay because I loved it so much! The work is very easy, you hand out flyers, sell the boat tours, assist with kayak rentals ect. When you are on the boats work doesn't even feel like work! I met the most amazing locals and volunteers, learnt about the history of Albania and got to live like a local. The accommodation is legit a 2 minute walk away from the beach! I cannot thank Dea and Niko enough for such an amazing experience! Definitely returning!

This experience was life changing! Hosts Niko and Dea were fabulous and so kind. Leading tours were the best shifts so enjoy those days for sure! The other shifts are mainly handing out flyers to tourists, which can get a bit exhausting, but it's easy work. The accommodation was great and overall, Himare was such a nice town to live in. The other volunteers were lovely and I met a lot of locals too! I would highly recommend this experience to other travellers, even if it's your first work exchange! I hope to visit again someday
