A welcoming place with supportive people, a friendly atmosphere, and a great opportunity to learn new things and gain new experiences. The Swamis are kind and encouraging, and everyone makes an effort to help you feel comfortable. A memorable experience that I would recommend to others.

It's quite hard to put in to words the impact that the Center has had on me. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to have volunteered here, especially being my first experience. The bar has been set very high! The everyday tasks were easy to do, overwhelming for some, but overall good. The meals provided should be served in restaurants because they were incredible. Most importantly, I want to thank Sanjay, Patty, and the rest of the crew. They are incredible people. I would recommend this to everyone. I could go on about how great the Center is but there's a character limit. Thank you! ❤️

I really loved my stay at Swamis and enjoyed getting to know everyone. I appreciated the rhythm of each day and that volunteers could attend most classes and workshops, with only the 10:30 yoga class conflicting with work. The workshops introduced me to new practices and deepened my understanding of yoga. Housekeeping was well organised, with tasks shared fairly, and the volunteer communal space was spacious, clean, and cosy.

I really enjoyed my experience at the Center! I couldn't have chosen a better way to start my trip in Australia, which is why I decided to extend my stay. The people I met, the shared meals, the evenings spent together, and the sense of community that the Center creates made me feel at home from the beginning. My tasks mainly involve housekeeping, helping with meal preparation, and cleaning the kitchen. The workload feels fair, and there is still plenty of time during the day to enjoy yoga classes, workshops, and everything the Center has to offer.

My time at the Center is a deeply healing and enriching experience. Living and working in this community has shown me how beautiful and meaningful life can be when people come together with open hearts. I love supporting guests, teaching yoga, and connecting with the wonderful community. Sanjay and Patty are incredibly kind, caring, and supportive, making everyone feel welcome from day one. This place truly feels like a second home, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to be here as a volunteer.

I'll treasure my time at the Center for a long time. The peaceful location, beautiful grounds, and welcoming community made it a special experience. My role involved managing bookings, guest inquiries, and check-ins, and the work exchange felt more than fair for accommodation and three meals a day. We stayed in the Shed, which is more basic than the house (no WiFi and one shared bathroom), but we loved having a private room. Being able to attend yoga and workshops, use the pool and steam room, and connect with fellow volunteers and Sanjay made this an experience I'd happily return to!

My time at the Center was delightful! Patty, Sanjay, and the volunteers create a welcoming environment and truly care about each other and the Center. I applied as a yoga teacher and after teaching a class for volunteers I was able to teach to guests right away. I loved teaching both workshops and asana classes. Depending on other volunteers and outside teachers you may teach 2-3 /wk; I taught 5 /wk. I also worked housekeeping in the mornings. With such a wonderful volunteer team there was always a bit of fun along the way! Delicious vegan meals were the cherry on top! Can't wait to come back!

The Center was a blessing to find and be welcomed into. It became a second home almost immediately and I am grateful to have been a part of such a profound team of Karma Yogis and global change makers especially since we were able to carry the legacy of Swami, herself, the Yoga pioneer of Australia 🌏🦘! I would definitely recommend and will definitely go back one day. 🥰

The Center is a wonderful place for yoga, nature, nourishing food and community. It really exceeded my expectations. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and the living spaces are comfortable. For work, I mostly did housekeeping, guided morning walks, prepared meals and cleaned in the kitchen. It was manageable even during busy periods, as the volunteers helped each other. If you are interested in yoga, meditation, wellness and hospitality, I truly recommend this place as there are many opportunities to learn and grow.

I had a great time at the Center! The food was good, the work was not too difficult, and there was free time to relax and take yoga classes when you're not working. I loved how all the meals were eaten together by volunteers and there was always games or other activities going on when we weren't working. The room I stayed in only had two other beds in it which was very nice. My only suggestion would be for management to give new volunteers a run down of how housekeeping work is done, because other volunteers were left to teach new ones, which made my first few days a bit stressful.
