I had a wonderful stay with Isara and Piriya - my first worldpackers experience and first time in Thailand. They were incredibly welcoming hosts and truly care about your experience. I spent most of my time with Isara, and he was taught me a lot about mindfulness and meditation. He has a lot of connections in the village, so there are many opportunities for different things to experience. The private accommodation is rustic and natural, but I really liked it! It's cozy. Piriya is an amazing chef. And I planted a lot of different plants in their the project - hope you all get to enjoy it!

I had a really beautiful experience here. I learned a lot about permaculture and environmental impact, and it was amazing to spend time immersed in nature. I was also introduced to meditation, which was a very special part of the experience for me. I'm grateful for everything I learned and for the time shared together.

I had a wonderful two weeks on this project. I was able to discover and practice mediation daily thanks to the explanations and advice I received! I also got to share many things with the villagers: celebrations, classes, cycling... I highly recommend it!

This was my first volunteering experience and it was amazing. Piriya (Net) and Isara were very accommodating, patient, and understanding. Everyday was a new project. I worked with locals in the community, helped on the project farm, played with a little girl, and painted. They want you to have a good experience so if there's something you want to do just say! I also practiced a lot of meditation with Isara. I still practice what I've learned. If you want to learn about sustainably and meditation this is the place for you!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our 2 week stay with Piriya (aka Net) & Isara. Everyday we were fed plenty of great the project (Net's a great cook!) and driven around to volunteer projects or sightseeing. We made organic fertilizer, fertilized vegetable beds, trimmed trees, helped out at a restaurant, learned how to cook several Thai dishes, helped build a ground water bank, applied lime plaster to a mud house, and made mud bricks. We also got to tour several temples, eat with the monks, and meditate. Volunteers who are flexible and comfortable living with nature will enjoy!

I stayed at this the project for almost two weeks and it was a wonderful and enriching experience. I needed 1-2 days to get used to it because it is totally different to my life in Germany. I learned a lot about sustainable agriculture, the project forests and tropical plants and the Thai culture. The hosts were very kind, made vegetarian the project for me, were pretty knowledgeable and open to sharing their skills and stories and always had time for me. I enjoyed working outdoors and helping out. There is always something new to learn and observe. Thx for hosting me, I will come back again 😉

For me personally, this experience didn't meet the expectations created by the program description and schedule, as the actual conditions on site were significantly different; while I am comfortable with simple accommodation, the hygiene standards were below an acceptable level, including insects and rodents in the sleeping area, which raised concerns about my health and led me to leave after the first night.
I would like to acknowledge the kindness and understanding of the local coordinator, who supported my decision and assisted me in reaching the bus station.

This place was not as described. I understand rural life, but basic cleanliness, safety, and transparency were missing. there was no real meditation guidance, the work was construction, and the living conditions were cold and dirty (including pests, mouse). the project hygiene was poor. The biggest red flag was being asked not to leave a review when we decided to leave. People deserve to know what to expect.
