I highly recommend this experience. I spent three wonderful weeks at the school, surrounded by forests, lakes, and amazing company.
Gonzalo is such a kind and welcoming person who will make you feel like part of the community from the very first moment. John is always there whenever you need him. He taught me how to cook delicious dishes, I had so many laughs with him, and thanks to him I got to discover some truly special places.
Overall, it was a 10/10 experience, and I really hope I can come back soon!!

The experience in Moskosel was great, people from all over the world, every day was unique. The cabin for the night is private, cozy and warm. The task are manual (carpentery, gardening, building, moving), the work hours are always respected and if u need a break u can take it. The inside of the school is incredible, every room has personality and u can use them how and when u whant.
I made amazing friends and a new travel partner.

John, Thomas, and Benbow are the best company anyone could get; they are incredibly warm and caring. I was able to witness some of the best of what nature has to offer, while at Moskosel. John is an excellent cook and Thomas is a true professional with a variety of skills. The accommodation was comfy and you get to meet creatives coming in from across the globe.

Nice experience – friendly staff and host, was able to see the northern lights relatively often! It can get a bit boring during free time as it’s quite remote (especially without a drivers license) and not many people to hang out with. Work hours are fine and somewhat easy. Some lack of organisation here and there but nothing critical. Definitely recommend if you want a peaceful and magical experience (while northern lights are still visible anyways)!

Moskosel is a beautiful place. The natural surroundings are stunning, and seeing the northern lights there is magical and unforgettable. The volunteer cabin is cozy, comfortable and private; also the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. the host is remote but well connected. Tasks may change day to day but hours are respected, actually, sometimes take shorter , 1 or 2 hours. John's bread is delicious and he cooks almost daily. This is a great experience for flexible volunteers who enjoy calm, silent and nature.

I won’t lie : this experience did not respect the initial offer at all and I was very disappointed. Gonçalo knows exactly what I think, I was completely honest with him. I came to help create social media content for the school, but I did none of what was agreed, not even a post, as Gonçalo was not interested in it. Food and comfort were very basic and clearly not enough for three meals a day as mentioned. There were tensions, no communication, no atmosphere and no activities to visit the surroundings. This is not why I volunteer when I travel. I do not recommend this experience.

My experience as a volunteer in Moskosel was incredible and very rewarding. I felt fulfilled to have had the opportunity to experience days with snow and see the Northern Lights. The surrounding nature is spectacular, and I made good friends with other volunteers. I met Jhon towards the end of my stay, and he was very kind. I recommend it to everyone who has the opportunity!

The second I arrived there I felt welcome, by Gonçalo and all the other volunteers. It was a very nice time there and one of the best experiences I ever had with Worldpackers, so I absolutely recommend. The work wasn't hard at all and working hours more then respected. The nature and the Aurora was amazing although it was very cold for some days. I already miss all of the people I met there, everyone was so nice and became a really good friend.
I unfortunately met John the manager only for some days because he was on vacation before. But from what I saw, he's a very kind manager. Thanks :)
