It was my first time volunteering and the experience was incredible. I met a lot of great travellers who were all looking for a calm place in the middle of nature and this is the perfect spot! I definitely recommend it if you want to connect to people, nature and animals.

So far I've been volunteering in 6 hostels and the hostel was definitely THE BEST OF ALL! The hosts, staff and volunteers were really inspiring and made me feel like home since the first minute... If you're looking for a peaceful place with a sustainable philosophy and a lot of music, this it's your spot. My original idea was to spend one month but I stayed two! Thanks Juaco, Eve and Napo for everything, I will miss the jam sessions, the pizza nights and of course the dogs ❤️

I can say that I had one of the best experiences at Universopol. I made genuine friendships, not only with the guests who arrived each week, but also with the staff and other volunteers. What I was most looking for was a space to reconnect with nature and tranquility — and I found exactly that here!
Thanks to the hostel, I challenged myself with vegan cooking and was surprised by the dishes I was able to prepare. In addition, it was always a great opportunity to bring everyone together and share our experiences. They were special days that will stay in memory, and I already know I will miss them 🫶❤️

Morro de São Paulo gave me one of the most beautiful experiences of my trip. I loved every corner.
What made my stay special was, without a doubt, the hostel; from day one I felt like I was in a treehouse, and from moment zero I was very warmly welcomed. The staff's treatment was always very respectful, warm! Joaquín and Napo, two living legends; sharing with Matheus every morning was something very special, every breakfast there I will carry in my heart. Everything we agreed on was always respected, and I felt cared for. Without a doubt I would recommend it to any traveler.

Foi uma experiência maravilhosa. Me conectei muito com a natureza no Bambu. As jams também são uma delícia, um ambiente muito artístico. O hostel atrai muitos hóspedes interessantes, e os donos também são muito legais. As horas são tranquilas e flexíveis. Recomendo a experiência!

Tive uma ótima experiência no hostel Poll. O lugar é incrível, e Matheus, Napo, Francisco e Lúcio são muito atenciosos e queridos. As atividades são tranquilas. Morro de São Paulo é pequeno, e é possível fazer a maior parte dos passeios a pé. Obs.: ao desembarcar em Morro, é cobrada uma taxa de preservação. É importante informar que você está a trabalho para evitar o pagamento dessa taxa. Fica a dica!
