My time at the farm was amazing, I had a great time, met amazing people and learned so much! Audrey is an incredible woman, who works so much and puts all of her heart into the farm. She always made sure, everyone was feeling comfortable made it possible for us to experience as much as we could of Canada! Although there were some misunderstandings, we worked trough everything and solved all problems. All in all, I had the best time at the farm would always do it again!

My time at the farm was a special experience that I will always be grateful for. the farm is in such a beautiful and peaceful part of northern Saskatchewan, surrounded by forest, wildlife, and nature. It's the kind of place where you can really slow down and appreciate the simple things. The moment I arrived, I felt very welcome. Audrey is an incredibly kind, generous, and genuine person who really cares about the people who come to stay and volunteer. I always felt appreciated during my time there. I feel very lucky to have been able to call the farm home, and I plan to return soon.

Audrey is a really lovely person. Sometimes there can be some communication difficulties, but once you know how to deal with them, it is not a problem at all. The people you meet there are one of the best parts of the experience. I got to know so many amazing people and had the opportunity to experience and do many things I had never done before. All of the animals are very lovely and I already miss them so much. However, you should keep in mind that you cannot simply expect to ride the horses, as they need a little more training first. There is plenty of free time and the rooms are nice.

I have years of riding experience, and yet I wasn't allowed to sit on a horse or ride one even once. The dogs are severely overweight, and I think it's terrible that Audrey isn't doing anything about it. I wasn't treated fairly, and she makes me feel stressed and useless. She doesn't communicate clearly-either in her choice of words or in the substance of what she says. I didn't feel comfortable and ultimately cut my trip short after 2 weeks instead of 2 months. After I told Audrey that I was leaving, I was treated even worse. I hope no one else has to go through this.

Luana really never showed much interest in the horses and could have rode any time in spare time . I have a volunteer now that work almost every day with them!! I have had 3 dogs one lived to 13,16,17 and all visit the Vet regularly. I feed twice a day and encouraged her to take Mokka on walks again no interest. She told me she left early because she missed family and boyfriend and was mad that we would not drive 5 hours. She gave me one days notice. Never a threat. Her review is unfair.

I had a pretty good time at FRR. I absolutely loved spending time with the animals and meeting the other volunteers; I miss Koda, Moon, and Milo lots!

I came under the impression that I'd be mostly working with the horses and occasionally helping with the B&B, but ended up doing B&B chores the whole stay. The chores were never difficult (mostly cleaning), and some tasks varied by the day.

Audrey was a lovely, generous host during my stay. However, she does get stressed easily which makes communication difficult and unclear. At worst, it felt very degrading, discouraging, and exhausting.

My experience at the farm was definitely one for learning. I made friends, very quickly with the other volunteers and tried my hardest to get along with Audrey. However I simply had too much to learn about a lot of things such as horse care, cleanliness and communication. This lead to problems with Audrey as I wasn't able to do tasks up to her standard. I don't blame Audrey for having a lack of trust in me and I believe that's something very hard to come back from. I learnt a lot and of course I wish I could've stayed longer but after everything I truly appreciate my time with her.

Stayed for 4 months, and it was amazing. A stay full of emotions and memories. Audrey became not just a friend , but a mentor and a family. Best advice: Treat anything at the farm as yours. I recommend the farm both for guest and volunteering holiday!

I really enjoyed my stay at the farm. My highlights were the funny evenings with the other volunteers, the animals and meeting Audreys nice friends. I also loved to work with the horses and going on rides, even they are a bit challenging and need more training. I alsways felt comfortable because I had my own room and the atmosphere was positive. Audrey does an impressive job managing the farm by her own and I admire her work. Sometimes I whished a little more calmness and structure, especially in stressful moments. If you are looking for a real canadian experience, this is the place

I loved my time at the farm! Audrey is a very generous host who tried to make sure all of our expectations were met. The work was very diverse and fair and our hours were respected. In our free time we could take the horses to go on a ride, though they need some training. Everyone who was at the farm was incredibly friendly and there are people there that I will miss a lot! I felt there were some misunderstandings about how we should approach some tasks, but Audrey did try to make the work more structured. I am so thankful I got to experience the true Canadian countryside living!! <3
