I had alot of fun at this volunteering, and all the staff and travellers here are really nice and friendly and respectful. Volunteer accomodation is good, and they provided all the meals promised which is excellent. The location is excellent, just 10 minutes walking from a really nice beach, and the airport, you get an amazing discount on the tours including the diving. I do think the volunteering description on Worldpackers could be more accurate though just so people understand what they are expected to do in advance. The host is also flexible with volunteer hours if you are a digital nomad.

From the outset I greatly appreciate the attentiveness and the hospitality with which both managers and volunteers welcomed us; it is a very comfortable space, I would recommend it for volunteers without much experience but who enjoy learning from meeting and sharing with new people. However, it should be stressed that the person in charge of following up with the volunteers, named Florencia, tends to certain behaviors that call into question whether she is qualified for the job since on several occasions she has shown intentions to create conflict among volunteers.

Honestly, the hostel gave me many experiences, the island workers are very friendly, the grandmother cooks incredibly well, although there were inconveniences, after indicating the inconformities our opinions were taken into account and there was a change, in fact, I wanted to stay longer in the end, not everything is perfect, there is always room for improvement, but as far as my experience as a Volunteer goes, itâs worth going to the hostel. Thanks the hostel, thanks to the whole team, I could enjoy my stay on this beautiful island.

It was one month of many contrasts, it was very good to get to know the hostel Andrés for the first time, this volunteer program allowed me to know the whole island, do many tours, connect with other travelers from various countries, practice English and Portuguese, develop my talents as an artist in my role as bar and tour animator, karaoke, experiences and activities; I feel I couldn't connect as I hoped with Florencia and another volunteer perhaps due to personal reasons, which made the living together a bit difficult; in terms of work I sometimes did more hours than agreed and the food was in bad condition.
