I loved my time at the shelter. It's a very peaceful and calm environment. Working on their new hostel was rewarding and an experience I would never have otherwise had. Also the cats and dog (pequeño)are a bonus. Thanks for having me!

I spent nearly two weeks volunteering at this hostel, and I couldn't imagine a better place to volunteer. I met so many people from different countries, practiced my Spanish, and had a great time. The duties weren't exhausting, and the atmosphere and management were really pleasant.

I had a great time at the hostel. The work and the people are pretty chill, and I had a lot of free time to explore the town and the mountains. Volunteers sleep in a separate house not far from the hostel, and I usually took the scenic route through a field where I bumped into random people just playing music, or chilling out. I even petted some cows! The volunteer house needs some improvement though. We had to clean the bathroom and the kitchen, and there's a cat and a dog who sneak into the bedroom at night, so you might wanna look out for that! All in all I'd recommend though!

I enjoyed my experience. I stayed for one week, made the most of my time in Pisac and liked connecting with the other volunteers, the cats and Patas at the house where we stayed. I led some yoga practices and helped with reception, and everything felt very easygoing. Andrés and Ramiro are kind, even though there were a few communication mix-ups at times. I had a great time and would definitely recommend it for those who want to spend some time in Pisac. Tks for having me 💚

I had a great time volunteering here! The environment is very fun while also facilitating interaction with international travelers. I met people from all over the world here and though the city is quite small I never ran out of things to do.

I had a great time in Kamanti, hours are easy, mostly reception work. The people made the whole experience way better.

The hostel is a bit disorganised, but you will get used this, it's Perú. 😊 Go with the flow! And tell Gringo Steven to wash his dishes!

Part 2 (with siobhán) -outdoor kitchen -we were told to clean but there is no cleaning supplies -the two hosts are brothers and are not on the same page when it comes to volenteers, both told us to do different things/different hours -our hours were switched without consulting us beforehand which is hard if you are trying to plan outings -if you are traveling as a pair you work six hours (different shifts) so most your day is taken up

We will take the schedule into account when working in pairs. The problem is that we always require 3 hours per volunteer. Unfortunately I had some issues to address and I couldn't be at the lodging. Thank you, and regarding the volunteers' house I will provide the information since this option is new in our volunteer program.

Part 1 (with charlie) -Andres and Ramiro are nice people -communication is a big problem, the hosts are not around much and not good at answering messages quickly -We received no guidance or training on reception job, had to ask other volunteers/figure it out -volenteers stay in a separate house 5min away -the volunteer house has warm blankets and good beds

We feel that we haven't had good communication; unfortunately I had some issues and couldn't be present at the lodging.

Pisac is a beautiful place. The hostel is nice. I worked a bit on the volunteer house as I believe it's a new space and some parts weren't up to scratch. The organisation was okay but a bit disorganised. Andres and Ramero are both friendly and helpful, the town of Pisac is a beautiful and spiritual place.
