I loved my six weeks here and felt at home from day one. Claudia and her family welcomed me so warmly. The work was fun, and the wonderful horses are very well cared for. I also loved our trips to the springs and the beach. I had an amazing time and am already coming back next month!

I had the best time with Claudia and the other volunteers, genuinely became friends and came out of my comfort zone. The nature was insane and the horses so sweet, the trail rides are beautiful and the cold springs were perfect in the hot weather and gorgeous. I definitely consider coming back because I miss it already🩷

My time at the farm was nothing short of amazing! Between the incredible relationships developed with Claudia and Luisa, the exciting and interesting activities offered, and the therapeutic time with the horses, I got to have such an unforgettable experience. I left this experience with greater confidence in my spanish speaking, greater appreciation for Galician culture, and wonderful memories with both the amazing people and animals. Thank you so much for this experience! Claudia & Luiza were amazing hosts, I felt very welcome and comfortable. They always did activities with us, riding lessons, trailrides, hiking, visiting village festivals and streetmarkets. Also the horses were lovely, also for inexperienced riders. Can only recommend to future volunteers.

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I had so much fun here. Claudia made me feel so welcome and comfortable and her family and friends were very sweet. Even though the weather wasn't the best when I was there, we still had so much fun riding and exploring the surrounding towns and areas, as well as meeting locals and learning about local culture. All of the work we had to do was never too demanding and Claudia always found ways to make it entertaining. Can't wait to come back!

Back in November I volunteered for a month and had a great time. Unfortunately, this time the experience was much more mixed. I found some aspects of the social dynamic difficult at times (including hearing past volunteers spoken negatively about) and there were also several communication issues that were never really resolved. I think improvements could definitely be made, particularly with regard to communication, conflict management & consistency in the experience, especially given the high fee charged for what is supposed to be a volunteer placement.

We are sorry Nikoleta had a negative experience. However, we had to end your volunteering after you left our animals unattended for an entire day, without water during extreme heat, despite knowing the routine and responsibilities. We tried to contact you but received no response. The well-being of our animals is our absolute priority, and this level of irresponsibility is unacceptable. We therefore cannot recommend her for animal-care volunteering. We report this information to worldpackers.
