It was a very rewarding experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone, though a good command of Spanish is very helpful for this work.

This was one of the most rewarding volunteering experiences I've had. I had a great experience in the school, I always felt safe and comfortable and the people were incredibly kind and welcoming. Everything was well organized, and I felt supported throughout my stay. The school is welcoming, well-managed, and filled with enthusiastic people who make every day enjoyable. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who wants a meaningful volunteering experience in a welcoming school and a city where I always felt safe and comfortable. I hope many more volunteers get to experience this.

My experience at SALC the school was truly heartwarming. From the very beginning, the hosts made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Their kindness goes beyond simple hospitality, it's clear that they truly care about the well-being of every volunteer. What made this experience even more special was the people. My colleagues, fellow volunteers, and especially the students brought so much warmth, joy, and connection into my daily life. The SALC space itself reflects the same care: it is clean, organized, and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to spend your time working and living.

I had an absolutely wonderful time assisting with English instruction at the school Learning Center in the school. The staff was so friendly, professional and helpful. I appreciated how organized they were by clearly defining my job responsibilities. In addition, they were able to incorporate my unique skills and talents into the activities. The students are just some of the kindest, sweetest, and most hard working young people I have had the honor to meet. I am feeling sad to leave this great place. The accommodations were very nice! I had a private room with private bathroom.

I had a great time at the school. The work was honestly fun, I just talked to people all day. The staff is really nice. Carlos was very helpful with everything I needed. The accommodation is nice too. I really enjoyed the trip to the tsachila comuna, doing activities with the students, I recommend to anyone who speaks English.

I had an amazing time at the school in the school. All of the hosts and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive throughout my stay. The students I spoke with in English were very friendly, and I truly enjoyed the conversations we had together. The area felt safe, and the room they provided for me was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone considering volunteering here. I'm very grateful for the opportunity and hope I'll be able to come back again in the future!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and it truly exceeded anything I imagined. Teaching in the school was an amazing opportunity—I learned so much from the students, the community, and the daily rhythm of life here. I've grown personally while helping others learn English, and I'm leaving with new skills, new memories, and a deeper appreciation for cultural exchange.

This was a fantastic experience. Carlos and Veronica have a super positive attitude and that trickles down through the whole organization. The teachers are motivated to teach and to continue developing their own language skills. They are open to new ideas and finding fun ways to engage the students. The room is comfortable and the kitchen is always accessible. I had plenty of opportunities to explore the city and countryside between shifts. The staff and students always had great suggestions for restaurants and other off-site entertainment. Teachers Vivi and Mishell rock.
