I stayed at the the hostel for about 2 weeks working as a bartender. The hostel is nice and quiet, wonderfully located in the hostel. The shifts are really manageable working from 5pm to 10pm. It is easy to learn how to handle the bar and how to make cocktails as you will be explained on your first day there. You will get the chance of getting to know other fellow travellers, have nice conversations while also helping them with travel tips or learning something from them. You will also get the time to get to know the city or have your free time. I really recommend :)

The hostel is in a very central location in the hostel. The team made me feel very welcomed from the get-go and the tasks are quite easy and fun. The bar menu isnt very long and due to the size of the hostel, the bar never gets crowded so you get to make friends with the other guests and give them great attention. I had a lot of fun here!

A little bit boring for me, i worked at the bar and what there was nobody coming, so I just waited at the bar for 5 hours. Also, they don't offer "free tours" or discounts on tour. So, besides having a free bed I didn't see the point working there, so I ended up leaving after a few days. The hostel is in a very Nice neighbourhood and the hostel staff is nice, but it's not a place to go if you expect to meet a lot of people.

I had a good experience at the the hostel! The work at the bar was fairly calm, the drinks weren't complex and the daily rituals were also fairly calm. Since the bar wasn't very busy, there wasn't always much to do, but the connection with the guests and other volunteers was very nice. The room and the rest of the facilities leave nothing to be desired.

I recommend the experience at the hostel. I did a 21-day volunteer placement at the hostel. The work schedule is very well respected: five days a week, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with two days off per week. The hostel is organized and very clean, and the shared room with guests is comfortable. The work in the bar is calm and pleasant, and it takes place on the hostel's terrace, serving the guests. The Dragon Fly experience was excellent, everyone on the staff is very nice, incredible people. Maria also treated me super well since my arrival. The work was quite calm and I had two days off per week, which gave me plenty of time to enjoy it, and I also learned many things about the country. Honestly, it was the best experience I've had so far. I want to thank everyone at Dragon Fly so much; I hope to return someday, I highly recommend it.
