Maria and Ivo are caring and made me feel welcome. The house is spacious, surrounded by nature, and the animals are wonderful. My room was comfortable after a good cleaning, which I did myself. Sardinia is amazing, and I loved exploring by bike and practicing my Italian. Collecting olives was enjoyable. I'd recommend this place if you're comfortable with solitude (no friends here!) and can be patient with some communication issues, especially regarding shifts and days off, which sometimes made it hard to plan my free time. Overall, I'm grateful. Thank you for having me.

I had to leave early due to a family emergency, but after a week with Maria and Ivo, I can share my experience. Ivo is respectful, friendly, and teaches with ease. Maria is kind and cooks wonderfully, but has difficulty delegating and there's no clear program. On dinner days (3 times a week) she gets stressed and asks for extra hours; once I worked 8h instead of the agreed schedule. These dinners should be mentioned as they end past midnight. The place is beautiful, but the beach is 1.5h away on a dangerous road, better for couples or those with a car.

Maria replied

I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience. I don't delegate the kitchen duties because volunteers change and customers, if they're satisfied, come back. I'm sorry if you felt the workload heavy and if you ended up working more than was necessary. Usually, when it happens, those hours can be recovered with an extra day off. I've always done it, and no volunteer so far has complained. I also try to devote time to the volunteers by taking them to the sea or showing them the area, at my expense.

The structure is beautiful and the animals and plants that are there allow a beautiful energy. Unfortunately the owner Maria Antonietta was not able to explain what kind of job she wanted. She requests a home restaurant service at the volonteers work 6 hours in the evening 2/3 times a week without counting them in the working hours. There are actually hardly any days off.Unfortunately, the agreements envisaged by her were not respected and finally to conclude my experience the owner decided to literally "throw" my things out of the house!!!

Laura was welcomed very warmly, as were all the other volunteers. Unfortunately, her behavior, which was not very polite or respectful toward me, caused her volunteering to end abruptly. Fortunately, I had many other volunteers, all with a positive attitude toward me.

> Unforgettable experience on a beautiful farm! I tended chickens, pigs, goats, turkey, watered plants, orchard and vegetable garden. I loved Margot the cat and the dogs Poldo and Makia. I will carry with me the peace, the silence and the awakening with the roosters. Maria is very kind, she cooks wonderfully vegan and gluten-free, she picked me up at the airport, took me to the city and to the beach. Her multicultural dinners were magical. Ivo is kind, professional, patient and excellent at teaching. I felt at home and safe. Thank you!

Maria Antonietta and her farm are a true oasis of well-being, peace and sustainability. The agriturismo offers zero-kilometer products (or better, zero-meter!) and the convivial atmosphere of its dinners helps even more to appreciate the genuineness of the products. A wonderful experience.

An incredible experience at Maria in Sardinia! Maria is an exceptional, generous and always available person. She showed us the region, prepared delicious meals and shared plenty of knowledge about permaculture, the garden and the gîte. Her son Yvo also taught us a lot. The place is a true little oasis, beautiful and filled with adorable animals. We were wonderfully welcomed and helped, even without a vehicle. Maria will miss us a lot already! I highly recommend this experience 100% ❤️

Maria is a wonderful person! 🥰 Always smiling, attentive, and very thoughtful, she loves sharing her knowledge with a lot of kindness. She is also an excellent cook 😋, every meal was delicious! The fact that she speaks French 🇫🇷 was a real plus. Since we didn't have a car, she took us to visit beautiful places, go for walks, and even attend concerts 🎶. Thanks for your warm welcome, your generosity, and all these wonderful moments. I'm going to miss you a lot! ❤️

It was a very authentic and cultural experience. Maria Antonietta is a very hospitable, communicative woman who is always ready for dialogue. She shared with us the Sardinian culture and she also adapted to my vegan diet, cooking with care and kindness. My Italian has improved a lot thanks to this experience.

The main difficulties were the lack of a fixed routine and the distance from the beach without any transport. I left four days early for personal reasons and due to difficulties balancing online work.
