The hostel family welcomed me with an open heart from day one. I had an amazing time here. The work is easy and everyone is always there to help in unexpected situations. This place just works if you like a laid back atmosphere. This is my first volunteer and I have no regret that I have chosen this place. I made friends for life. Lan was amazing, Pinky and Tun were always sweet and you can feel safe around them. Mama and Auntie also cooked amazing foods. I will miss this place but lost importantly the people. I can't wait to go back.

I had the most amazing month at the hostel. Lan, the host is so so kind and very flexible when it comes to the work schedule. I did reception work, I had my first two shifts with Pinky which helped me a lot to feel comfortable and to learn the system. The work is very easy and chill. The food made by the mamas was incredible. Thank you so so much to Lan, Pinky, Tun Tun and the rest of the staff for such an amazing and life changing experience.

These were by far the best three weeks of my life. The team felt like a family to me and it's crazy how quickly I felt so comfortable around everyone and how fast i could adapt to the work at the hostel. If you're thinking about applying, just do it you will definitely not regret it. I made connections for life and improved my social skills by a lot. Lan is a great host, who is so fun to be around and is genuinely very understanding and Pinky and TunTun have helped me a lot with the work and made the stay so special (alongside the other volunteers) Leaving was the only bad part about it!

I had a nice time in the hostel, I loved the volunteers and tun tun and Pinky were also sweet, sometimes anti could be a little harsh but you'll get used to that. I liked the work at the reception, although sometimes it could be very stressful if a mistake was made. Food in general was fine but very repetitive. Lan the host is a very nice person and I really loved our local night out. The beds were nice and spacious and all the guests were fun.

It was my first volunteer and I couldn't expect something better !
I spent 5 weeks at the hostel and I didn't see the time passing. The tasks are really simple and Pinky is always available to help you if needed. The food was really good and I loved the atmosphere that was amazing. I want to thank you Lan for trusting me and Pinky and Tun for making me feel like home. I will definitely recommend this volunteer and I can't wait to come back. Thank you for everything, I already miss it ☺️

I had a great time at Gecko's 🦎✨ The hostel itself has a social vibe but not in a party way (but you always find someone happy to go out too). It also attracts great guests, I met many amazing people there. Reception work is easy, the system they use is quite intuitive. Most of the time, it's very chill. That being said, as in any customer service role, you need a certain stress resistance (or you'll develop it ;)) Tun Tun and Pinky (and their dogs!!) were so lovely. I miss them dearly and will defo come back one day! 🫶🫶

I miss everyone already! Had such a good time volunteering at the hostel bar - the tasks were straightforward and easy to learn. The hours are great, the beds are comfortable, loved that all meals are included and the walking distance to everything in Tam Coc - if not, then they have bikes for rental. Thank you Lan, Hong, Hieu and the rest of the staff! I would love to come back and visit one day <3

My time at the hostel was amazing! 3 incredible weeks. The work is chill and it's a great hostel to make connections during day and social enough for evening activities. The beds are amazing and so is the pool. Pinky , Tun Tun and Lan are very kind and help you with anything you need. I will definitely come back 💞💞
