About the Exchange & Andean Magic ✨
The Kinti Wasi volunteer program is perfect for travelers seeking a peaceful, relaxed environment. As a small family, we offer a cozy home in exchange for 4 hours of work per day.

What we offer:

🛏️ A comfortable bed and daily breakfast (Monday to Sunday).
🌳 Full access to all common areas (kitchen, hammocks, workspaces, etc.).
⏳ 1 day off per week and plenty of free time after your shift for tourism or remote work.

A Spiritual Journey:
We are located near Apu Callacpuma, a sacred, protective mountain home to ancient cave paintings and mystical legends. We will happily guide you to the best local spots to immerse yourself in the deep spirituality of the Andean worldview during your stay.

Join us and connect with the magic of Cajamarca! 🦅⛰️

Activities & Shift

hat you will be doing: 🌟
We are looking for proactive, hands-on volunteers to help us maintain, build, and add artistic charm to Kinti Wasi. Your main tasks will include:

Gardening & Landscaping: Help us care for our plants, flowers, and trees to keep our hummingbird sanctuary green, blooming, and beautiful.

Arts, Painting & Decorating: Bring your creative touch! Help us refresh common areas, paint wooden signs, or add artistic details to make our spaces extra cozy.

Building & Repairing: Assist with light construction, eco-building projects, or fixing and upgrading things around the property.

Space Upkeep: Collaborate with the team to ensure our outdoor rest areas, patios, and terraces always look organized and welcoming.

Shifts & Schedules ⏰
Our schedule is dynamic and divided into two main 4-hour shifts per day:

Morning Shift: 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM (Perfect for working before the sun gets too hot!).

Afternoon Shift: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Rules

House Rules & Community Living 🏡✨
We want you to feel right at home, so you will have your own set of keys to come and go as you please. To ensure a smooth and comfortable stay for everyone, we just ask you to follow a few essential guidelines:

Safety First: Our top priority is security. Please make sure the main entrance gates and house doors are always locked after you enter or leave.

Smoke-Free Indoors: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house and bedrooms. However, you are more than welcome to smoke in our outdoor shared areas, such as the garden, terraces, and open lounge zones.

Privacy & Respect: Kinti Wasi is a peaceful, community-focused space. To maintain a respectful environment for all guests and volunteers, bedrooms are strictly for personal rest and sleep; we kindly ask you to keep intimate encounters outside of the volunteer quarters.
