The hostel was a great spot for my first volunteering experience! I worked at the reception, which was very calm and straightforward, and made it easy to meet other travellers staying at the hostel. The hours and benefits were what was agreed upon, and everyone working at the hostel was welcoming, patient, and helpful my whole time here. Sebastian gives great recommendations on activities and restaurants around the area. Even though Salento is a small town, it's very lively with lots to do, and I was never bored during my 2 weeks here. Thank you for everything, hopefully I'll return one day 🤞

My experience at the hostel was a good one. The reception shifts from 12-5 were chill and simple. Sebas is a great guy who cares about both the hostel and his volunteers. The room was comfortable, modern and had a really great shower. There's also a nice rooftop to chill at. Mauro provided a free delicious breakfast for us daily. Awesome hostel location, 1 block from the plaza. The team is flexible with working hours too. If there's ever a tour you'd like to do, just communicate it. 2 of the coffee tours I went on were free. Shout out to Juan, who was an absolute pleasure to work with!

I enjoyed my volunteer work at the hostel. The atmosphere was really pleasant, Sebastian is a very kind and attentive person. The staff is also very friendly. The premises are very clean (which isn't always the case for a hostel). I highly recommend it ! Thanks again! 😊

I loved my time in Salento and at the hostel! I worked at the front desk from 12 pm to 5 pm, and the work is very straightforward, the atmosphere relaxed. Salento is a quiet town surrounded by greenery and full of great cafés; the volunteer schedule leaves plenty of free time to explore! The manager, Sebastian, is a wonderful and caring person—always making sure you are feeling comfortable and enjoying your time in Salento. The volunteers have their own room on the top floor, it's very comfortable, quiet, and spacious, with an en suite bathroom.

I loved my stay at the hostel! It's the perfect place to relax and unwind. The tasks are really simple and it wasn't to busy when I stayed so my shift was really chill aswel! I would recommend staying for two weeks, my third week felt like a bit too much, I felt like I've seen everything around Salento.

My experience at the hostel was really chill ! The job at the reception is not difficult and the hostel is really modern. You have your own space in the room and if you want to share moments with other people, the rooftop is the best place to do it ! Salento is beautiful and super safe. If you love nature and good hikes, you will love the place. Sebastian is a really good person with whom you can have conversations about everything. It was so interesting to share our stories and to do it with someone so open minded.
Thanks again Sebastian !

There are also fun activities, good vibes, I'm really grateful for this experience and would definitely recommend you.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the hostel! It was my first time, and it couldn't have been better I even made new friends during my stay. The owner, Sebastian, is very friendly and always checks in to see if we need anything during our shifts, which makes you feel supported and comfortable. The reception system is easy to understand, and if you have any questions, Sebastian is always available to help. The hostel also offers great activities that volunteers can join, which is a big plus and makes it easy to connect with others and enjoy your time.
