This was my first Worldpackers experience and I had an absolute blast! Sandra and Ivan were so wonderful and welcoming and I felt completely at home and comfortable with them! They were very respectful of my time off and also showed me so many wonderful places around Galicia. Bella was such a joy to be around, and I loved getting to spend time with her and truly getting to know her personality. She's extremely intelligent and loving. I have left Santiago now but hope to come back soon to visit Sandra, Ivan, and Bella!

I had a lovely stay with Ivan and Sandra! They created a home away from home, and were very welcoming and kind :) It was a nice balance of helping in the cafeteria, with catering events, and walking Bella. Bella is a wonderful dog and we had some nice adventures around Santiago! A beautiful family and I would absolutely recommend this experience!

I really enjoyed being with Sandra & Iván (& Bella) in Santiago for a month! Definitely would recommend. The hours you contribute are mostly just walking Bella 2-3 times a day, then helping in the cafe for catering events sometimes. You have lots of free time to say the least.

I learned a lot at my first Worldpackers experience with Sandra and Ivan. There was a bit of miscommunication due to language and also cultural differences between us, but we figured it out! Very chill schedule with lots of time to explore the beautiful city. Bella is very stubborn, but if you are more stubborn than her you will be just fine

Ivan and his mum Sandra are genuinely such lovely and welcoming people. Although some things got lost in translation, I always felt respected and valued during my stay. I felt like a guest on this exchange and am very grateful for the hospitality and kindness I received here. Bella is a beautiful dog (albeit sometimes stubborn!) and I got to see a lot of Santiago on our walks. I loved being able to help out with some catering events and trying to learn some Spanish too! Thank you so much for having me :) I will miss you all!

Ivan and Sandra are two of the kindest people I've met. They're both so caring and they'll ensure you feel welcome and comfortable during your stay. Bella, their doberman, is very silly and loves to cuddle. I had so much fun walking with Bella, helping at the cafe, and just overall being with Ivan, Sandra, and Bella. If you have the chance to help them out - take it! It's a special opportunity and you will not regret it. :) I miss them after leaving!

Ivan and Sandra are incredible people, very welcoming, who really made me feel at home from the first day. The atmosphere is very comfortable, calm, and pleasant. We walked a lot, shared many good moments, and it was a very positive experience for me.
Bella, the little dog, is a sweetheart: very calm, friendly and extremely intelligent. Taking care of her was one of the most special parts of the experience
