There are many great aspects of this place (surfboards, location, accommodation, staff), but I want to share why I was happy when I left. Work was repetitive and limited—mainly clearing leaves that quickly returned. Taking a short water break or seeming bored led to being shouted at by the owner, who didn't allow me to explain. His leadership style felt pressure-driven and disrespectful, and most volunteers experienced similar treatment. Great place to go if you wanna learn how to surf or already do. Beautiful beach and great waves. There is a public bus that makes it easy to get around. The tasks are simple and as agreed before. The place and accommodation is ok too and the people are welcoming so you will definitely not feel alone.

Volunteering at the surf camp for 6 weeks as a content creator was an unforgettable experience! I worked about 4 hours a day filming and editing, with 2 days off weekly. The team is incredibly kind, and living with other volunteers and staff felt like one big family—family dinners, night out and parties. 🌍🍽️ The best part? You will get amazing volunteers from everywhere and unlimited free access to surfboards! I learned to surf and had so much fun on the waves. 🏄♂️ Thank you, the surf camp, for the amazing memories and warm vibes! Highly recommend this experience to anyone. 🤙🌊

I had a mixed experience, in one hand, the contact with the nature is awesome, the people from everywhere makes the time so energetic; in the other hand as the project is in construction is understandable to have some adjustments during this phase; but there are some opportunities the management can work right away in favor of everyone in the camp, easy wins like use the new mattresses instead the things on the rooms. The place and activities (surf, hiking, mountain biking) are amazing I really enjoyed so much everyday.

My experience was amazing. I arrived with the idea of working and getting to know a new place, but I ended up taking away a lot more, I met people from all over, I stepped completely out of my comfort zone and learned a lot, not only about surfing, but also about myself.
I stayed during the low season, which made the experience calmer, despite there being less activity, I always found something to do and I really enjoyed the tranquility of the area. It is an experience that really stays with you and that, in my case, turned out to be much more special than I expected.

Fue mi primer voluntariado y fue increíble. Aprendí a surfear, viví rodeada de naturaleza e hice amigos de diferentes nacionalidades. Yo si recomiendo este voluntariado porque las tardes son sencillas y las personas que te reciben son cálidas y te ayudan en todo momento. Ojalá poder volver pronto
