I had a great time in general at the hostel. The staff dorm is a bit small if it's four people staying at the same time, especially when everyone is cooking themselves (since there is only one electric stove plate, the fridge is quite small and there is no sink, only the one in the bathroom so it's a bit annoying running back and forth). But if you make it work you will have a good time, the hosts and staff are such nice people, sometimes it's bit hard to communicate but it's no drama. The work ist also super easy. I recommend this place. Thank you for an amazing month!

I had a really meaningful experience at Artbaboo. The location in Yokohama Chinatown was great, and the atmosphere was creative, welcoming, and different from a typical hostel stay. The work was clear and manageable, mostly helping with cleaning and reception. The host and the team were kind, supportive, and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. I also met lovely volunteers and experienced a more local side of Japan. I'm truly grateful for the memories and would recommend Artbaboo to other travelers.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel Guesthouse. The work schedule is very flexible, and there is enough free time to explore Yokohama and everything around it! The work is easy to learn and mainly consists of cleaning the guest room and checking in the guests. There is also a the hostel downstairs where you can spend time with the Japanese staff and locals. They frequently hosts live music events, where volunteers are always welcome to join. Everyone was super nice and welcoming and I would definitely recommend this volunteer experience.

Volunteering here was a great experience! The work is easy to learn, and the accommodation is comfortable. the hostel staff are very kind and helpful, and there are frequent events where you can meet locals and practice Japanese. I planned to stay one month but extended for another because I enjoyed it so much. You also have plenty of free time to explore Yokohama and nearby cities. I'm really grateful for this experience and hope to come back one day :)

I had such a great time at the hostel! The work schedule is very flexible and the activities that we have to do everyday are very easy, basically you are in charge of the check-ins, cleaning, and getting the beds ready for the guests. They have a the hostel at the 1st floor, where you can go whenever you want and spend some time and drinks with the locals, they're really nice :) I truly recommend applying here if you like partying and don't mind the noise!

The hostel was beyond my expectations. I was warmly welcomed and had an amazing time. Mr. Koichi and the hostel team are wonderful people, and thanks to them I think I improved my Japanese quite a lot. The work was quite relaxed and our dormitory was very nice. The events held at the hostel were very fun and enjoyable. I had an incredible experience and it was very hard to leave. Thank you very much for this beautiful experience.
