Program Details

Join us at the Agriculture Production Hub for an immersive experience in sustainable farming and rural development. Volunteers will engage in various tasks, including planting and harvesting vegetables, feeding chickens, collecting eggs, and milking goats. You'll also assist with composting, maintaining the herb garden, and supporting community workshops on sustainable agriculture.

Your day begins with feeding livestock and morning garden maintenance, followed by hands-on activities like seed planting or harvesting. Afternoons focus on processing produce, learning new techniques, and participating in cultural exchanges with the community.

Activities & Shift

Experience sustainable farming firsthand by joining our Agriculture Production Hub. Volunteers will work in the early mornings and late evenings to make the most of cooler hours, contributing up to 30 hours per week. Tasks include planting and watering gardens to minimize evaporation, harvesting produce, feeding chickens, collecting eggs, and milking goats.

Each day is designed to align with sustainable practices, starting with early morning farm activities like livestock care and garden watering. Afternoons are free for rest or exploring the local area, while late evenings involve wrapping up tasks such as tending to the garden or assisting with composting.

Volunteers are integral to supporting food security and sustainability in our community while gaining hands-on experience in farming practices. Comfortable accommodations and meals are provided for a fulfilling experience.

As a volunteer you will play a key role in connecting our programmes and guests. Housed in our tented camp, with an en-suite bathroom, seating area outside and a small desk & chair, what more could you ask for.
