This was my first Worldpackers experience, and it was an amazing introduction. I spent 10 days with the farm and really enjoyed experiencing everyday life on an organic farm. I learned how to make and bottle natural wine, produce apple vinegar, and helped with vineyard maintenance and organic pumpkin cultivation. One thing I found really interesting was seeing many old tools and objects that belonged to the farm's grandparents. It was a nice way to understand a bit more about how previous generations lived in rural Italy. Overall, it was a great experience. More than learning

I had a truly lovely experience volunteering at the farm's place for two weeks. I got to harvest grapes, learn the art of making wine, and enjoy the simple, beautiful lifestyle by the river. the farm himself is an amazing host (and honestly, THE BEST chef , haha I learned lots from him!). His friends also welcomed me as if I were part of the family, which made me feel right at home. I loved every part of the experience and will definitely be coming back.💚 Highly recommended!

As being first time traveller to Italy. the farm was a great host and guide! I got to visit rome, plan a rave(which i enjoyed😊), visit the beach but my most favorite place was the spring nearby his house which is a must recommend to all who plan to be hosted by the farm! His friends and family too were very welcoming🫶🏾. Lovely place! Quiet country life and amazing culture and people. I felt safe and at home!

The farm was a great host, he pick and dropped me off at the station which really helped me. He took us around to some tourist sites that we wanted to see, cooked great meals and exposed us to the Italian culture we wouldn't otherwise be exposed to, by inviting us to tag along to some social events. The work was minimal as it was off season and grapes had already been harvested. We got to label wine bottles, taste wine and get to sell some at the local market. Overall it was a great experience one I could have to got as a tourist. Also, the farm is absolutely beautiful.

Those were a few great days at the farm. His house is in a beautiful setting, ideal for unplugging. There isn't much nearby, but we went to the river, to a nearby town and also to Rome, taking advantage of market day there. I spent mornings working in the garden from early on because it was very hot. I also went one day to the vineyards to pick plums and then we made jam. The communication in English was great, and if a word eluded us we would say it in Italian or Spanish and we understood each other without a problem. I really enjoyed sharing these days with him, his family and friends.

The truth is that I really enjoyed the experience because I felt immersed in nature. It was located in the countryside and very close to national parks, lakes, and mountains, and I also had the opportunity to visit some thermal baths together with the farm, the host.
