I volunteered at the home Centre and had a really enriching experience. The instructions were clear, the house comfortable, and I quickly felt at home. My role was to cook and support the retreat, using delicious fruits and vegetables from the garden. Anthony is generous and creates a warm, trusting atmosphere with a lot of flexibility. As a volunteer, I was also invited to join yoga sessions, sound journeys and medicinal workshops, which made the experience deeper and more meaningful.

Anthony and his mother are very sweet people, they welcomed me into their home as soon as I got there and I felt comfortable using the kitchen and the fresh fruits and veggies from the garden, I definitely ate well :) as for the volunteer work, I painted a mural for them, it was my first time doing something like this but they had lots of patience for me and I had fun doing it! Thanks for the experience, I will miss the peaceful garden and the pups !

I had an incredible time at Anthony’s place! His warm, welcoming energy and the stunning garden full of plants, herbs, and fresh fruits made my stay truly special. I loved helping in the garden, cooking and baking with fresh ingredients, and joining yoga and meditation activities, which were both fascinating and educational. Anthony is very kind and supportive, always taking the time to show me new things and making sure I felt well cared for. Overall, an unforgettable, enriching experience—I highly recommend this place!

We had a great time volunteering with Anthony . We learnt a lot about gardening and had fun chatting with the guests, his mother Martina and playing with the dogs. Our roles mainly involved cooking for the guests and tending to the garden. On our days off we went to explore Masaya, go up Volcan Masaya and hiked the Ventarron Mirador. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We were also welcomed into many of Anthony's classes including yoga and meditation and got to take part in a cacao ceremony which was a fun experience. Thank you!

We had a great time volunteering here and would recommend the experience. Anthony has a beautiful garden, and we enjoyed trying new recipes made with harvested fruits, herbs and vegetables. Our main tasks were gardening, food preparation and some DIY projects, which felt varied and enjoyable. We were invited to join meditation and yoga sessions, as well as a cacao ceremony and a drum journey. Thank you, Anthony, for welcoming us so warmly!\nTwo small things one might want to be aware of: the property is located next to a busy road (traffic noise), and is close to Managua rather than in Masaya.

It was my first volunteering gig and it was great. Anthony and his mom were very welcoming. We found a great way to communicate with each other. I was lucky enough to support Anthony during his retreat, thought yoga, cooked for the guest and did the dishes. I learned about plants benefits and how to make great teas with them. I got way better in cooking in the end and gain confidence in cooking. The house and the garden are very beautiful it’s nice to spend time there. I highly recommend his place

I had an overall positive experience at this place. The garden is amazing and a great space to relax after work. Working hours were well respected, and the food was very good. We were even treated to extra smoothies and also played games together, which was really fun.
Sometimes the communication and conversations could come across as a bit intense or one-sided, which might not be to everyone's liking. However, overall it was a nice stay, especially for people who enjoy a relaxed environment close to nature🌳

Anthony is a really welcoming person. After my arrival he showed me his whole home and always helped me with everything I needed for example how to take the bus. I got very delicious food every day. I will miss the fresh fruits and vegetables from his garden and the tea. The work was different very day and he was really flexible with the working hours. One day I planted corn and pumpkin and the other day I painted boards for a chicken enclosure.
During my stay was a yoga training and he invited me to join. I learned more about chocolate and yoga and I will definitely continue with Yin Yoga.

One of my best experiences in Nicaragua! I loved volunteering here and learning about permaculture — making soap, natural repellent, and fresh coconut milk. My main task was gardening, plus helping in the kitchen, where Anthony encouraged creativity with ingredients straight from the garden (the mango smoothies were unbeatable!). His mother, Martina, is kind and welcoming. The place is near beautiful spots like Laguna de Apoyo, Masaya, and Granada. A truly inspiring experience to reconnect with nature and yourself. ❤️

I had such I wonderful time here with Anthony and Martina, they welcomed me into their home so beautifully, I especially loved our nightly board games. The work is very far I usually did an hour or two in the garden and then the other hours cooking in the kitchen. Anthony was super flexible about when I did the 5 hours each day which was great! There is lots to go on your day off because it's only a short bus ride to Granada, Lake apoyo or Masaya volcano. Overall I really enjoyed my time here, I highly recommend it!
