The the school was my first volunteer experience and what a time. I am from nz and Samoan and the stay reminded me of island living so prepare to enjoy rural landscapes with the best views. Something about Cambodian sunsets that just make the whole place feel magical. You are living like a local which was what I wanted to experience. Alot of love mr Kim , amom and his family have for the community . The kids here really keen on learning too and so excited during lessons. Be ready to work and really engage yourself in local living. It's an experience you need to do

Amazing experience and place to truly engage with locals and make a difference. I ended up leaving early only because it was the school holidays and most of the work I ended up helping with could be done remotely! the the school and location is so beautiful - it's very rural so be prepared for the heat and a little bit of non-western living! Mr.Kim is an incredible man with so much passion for helping people and is great at communicating. He is super flexible and easy to get along with! I highly recommend this experience!

I had such a wonderful experience volunteering. The children were incredibly kind, curious, energetic, and full of personality. Spending time with them and being able to contribute, even in a small way, was truly meaningful.

What I loved most was getting to know the students, sharing moments with them, and seeing their enthusiasm for learning. This experience gave me memories that I will carry with me for a long time.

We are so grateful to spend 3 weeks with mister Kim and his beautiful family. The work he does it is absolutely beautiful and impressive. We spent our mornings gardening and afternoons teaching, with plenty of time for breaks and relax between. Worked around 5 hours a day, what included 3 hours teaching the children! It can be challenging the first 2 days until you accommodate yourself but after that it really feels you are part of the family. Mister Kim is really trying to make a different and help people experiencing poverty in the village. His relationship with the kids says a lot. A MUST!

I had the best time volunteering at the the school with Mr Kim and his family. The work the the school does has an immense impact on the local community and getting to contribute and be a part of the work was an honour. The facilities and food were simple but delicious and comfortable and covered all of our needs. We were incredibly lucky to view some of the best sunsets we have seen in all of SE Asia right from outside our room. I couldn't recommend volunteering at the the school enough and would love to come back!

We had the best time at the the school with Mr Kim and his family, who are so kind and made us feel so welcome from day one. Mornings were spent gardening and afternoons teaching art and English, making every day varied and rewarding. Teaching was completely new to us, but Mr Kim provides great lesson materials, making it easy to plan and teach with confidence. The children were lovely, and Mr Kim is such an inspiring person and we loved being able to support his projects and his community. We wish we could have stayed longer and couldn't recommend this experience more!

It has been an absolute pleasure to be apart of the the school project. Mr Kim is a very genuine person who you can see the passion he has for supporting communities wherever he can. As a volunteer I worked on the garden helping with chores and then teaching in the afternoon. Getting to teach the children and be apart of their community is something I will always remember, they are really great children. I hope to be back so I can spend more time there, thank you Mr Kim for having me on your project!
