I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel! Manuel is a very sweet host and will connect you with local tours as well as drop you off at meeting points which I really appreciated:) The quality of the hostel is exactly what you would expect, and there is a truly amazing view from the rooftop. The location of the hostel is a little bit further from the central area of the hostel, but completely walkable, and I think that the view of the river is very much worth it. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay here and experiencing the hostel!! Gracias por todo!!

The work and stay was nice! we cleaned rooms, swept, and painted for a few hours then were free to explore the hostel. the hostel is a little far from the city center but I never had the problem with the walk over. you can also get a taxi for a good price if you'd like.

I loved my time here. Manuel is great and the work is clear and straight forward. After cleaning the dorms the rest of your day is free, perfect balance of work then the ability to explore the hostel. The other volunteers were also so lovely. The hostel is in a great spot, 15/20 minute walk to central with beautiful veiws all around! Definitely recommend if you are in the hostel. Thank you for everything :)

Volunteering at the hostel was a chill and nice experience. Manuel is a great host and a fair boss. I was helping with social media and I liked that Manuel supported my ideas and suggestions for Instagram and TikTok. The hostel itself is on the edge of the city in a quiet neighborhood, and of course seeing the river and volcano every single day was a true gift! The experience at the hostel is very good, pleasant and calm, in an unbeatable place and location! Manuel is a very helpful person, with good treatment of the volunteers and flexible with the schedules. Although the description does not correspond to the tasks, these are simple, and it involves only the cleaning of the rooms and common areas. The pace of work is calm and you can do it at your own pace. As a point for improvement: communicating and getting along with Manuel is a bit complicated, so you have to communicate in an assertive and clear way, because otherwise there are misunderstandings. The hostel, the best place in the hostel to volunteer, has good facilities and is very well located! It’s quiet, the schedules are respected just as the days off! Manuel is open all the time to suggestions, he is very helpful and is always willing to learn something new🙌🏻 Please note that the profile is not exactly as described; it mainly requires cleaning, which is easy and there is everything you need. There are no: excursions or bikes, plus breakfast is about 20 USD per week, more than enough! The hostel is beautiful, without a doubt I recommend it!
