I truly enjoyed my stay in the hostel. It was the perfect place to base and explore Palomino. The hostel is very chill and cozy, Omar is a very cool person thats always willing to help and give recommendations, and the volunteering tasks are very easy and enjoyable. Even in low season, the vibes of the hostel and the people that it attracts makes it very easy to socialize and connect with other travelers. The location away from the tourist area allows to see the more local side of the town but is still very close to everything. It was an amazing experience, I'd definitely come back!

I had a great time at the hostel and in Palomino! Palomino is really a town I could just stay forever. And the hostel is a great home if you wanne be in Palomino for a while. The hostel is really nice, with a great kitchen and a lot of places to chill and meet people. The work it self was really easy and social from time to time. I did sometimes feel a bit uncomfortable with the communication skills of the owner. He had expectations he did not communicate and somethimes expected things from volunteers that he should not. I think there was a lack of responsibility of his own hostel.

Instructions are very clear from the first day. Additionally, there is a WhatsApp volunteering group where all tasks are specified for each shift. It’s a pity that you couldn't understand what was written there and thought we were expecting you to do something that we should not.

I highly recommend volunteering at the hostel! It is a beautiful and chill hostel, perfect to unwind but social enough to meet amazing people. The host Omar is super kind and always makes sure that everyone feels right at home. The work is easy, mostly just being at reception, some cleaning and taking care of the plants, working hours are always respected and flexible. Would definitely come back!

I can only recommend this volunteer experience! It was perfect! The hostel is so pretty and cozy, i felt very welcomed & comfortable the whole time:) The host Omar is great!! Most of my tasks were reception work, preparing breakfast or watering plants. I was cooking a lot with others. It was a very good vibe in the hostel:) Had an amazing time in the hostel and would love to come back some time!😊

Spent 3 weeks volunteering at the hostel and can absolutely recommend it! The tasks are quite easy- managing the reception, some garden work (like picking up mangoes and tidying up the leaves), feeding the cats and engaging with the guests. The hostel is very chill and not in a party vibe so perfect for someone who is looking for a more relaxed place. Omar is a great host and you can see his passion and love for the place! Will be back one day! Thanks for the experience 😊

I loved staying at the hostel, i felt home since the first moment and i took care about the surrounding like was my house. The task at the reception are easy and well expleined, sometime i helped with some cleaning, sometimes we organized community dinner (we spent Christmas and New Year's Eve together with the guests), pizza night exc. the hostel's vibe is very relaxed, great even to focus on your own project or work in your free time. Omar is very kind and friendly, with definitly good vibe, and he attracts also good vibe guests :) <3 I hope to return one day.

The hostel experience was very good and pleasant. The place is very quiet and perfect for relaxing, it's full of nature, it has several spaces to stay comfortable, it has 5 beautiful kittens that are very affectionate and can be cared for and fed. Omar from the start was very clear about the schedules and activities that should be kept in mind to do, he was flexible with the timings and on many occasions even suggested places to visit and get to know. The hostel is very close to the main street and the road, it has solar panels and its own water, very good, I would return.

I had a very beautiful experience at the hostel, it's a very beautiful place, the atmosphere and the energy are excellent. Omar is a very good host, I felt welcome all the time. The tasks and the schedules are flexible and it's not hard work. I was able to get to know the town very well since there was plenty of time to explore.
I recommend it without hesitation, it's a good place to meet people, disconnect a little and relax, I would love to return as soon as I have the opportunity.
