This was such an amazing experience; from the get-go, we immediately felt welcomed by Anita, our host, and the other world packers. The work was dictated by the wind, so there were some days we would spend reading our books in the sun and chatting to locals, and others where the beach could be very active.
The entire community was exceptionally kind, the Instructors and bar staff were lovely and would always have a laugh with you, lend a hand or give you a tip on your kiting.
I would very much recommend this experience to everyone.

This was an amazing experience I will never forget. You become part of a team that quickly begins to feel like a family. Anita, our host, always looked out for us. She and many of the instructors were big contributors to what made my experience so special. They always included us in activities outside of work and made us feel like part of the community. As for the work, it was easy to get the hang of with practice. My only wish was that I could have had a few more kitesurfing lessons. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Also, the accommodation was nice with great views! :)

I loved this experience. If you're interested in water sports or just looking for a fun volunteering job, I could not recommend the kite school enough. You can pick up the work very quickly, if you're eager to learn, and meet some of the best people while working! Anita was our host and she was brilliant, always keeping in touch, helping and teaching on the job and gave us excellent flexibility with working hours and days off. All of the team were amazing, looking out for us, teaching kite and welcoming us into their community. If you want to learn the kite, work hard then get on the water! :)

The work can be physically and socially demanding; therefore, it is best suited for someone athletic, motivated to learn kiting, and sociable to positively support clients. Shifts were always coordinated flexibly and respectfully with the other beach assistants and the manager. All the instructors were willing to teach as their availability and the wind conditions allowed. Kicking back with everyone in the slower times was nothing but good vibes, laughs, and memories I'll treasure forever :) It was truly a local, family business feel. My only complaint was that I should've stayed longer.

Words cannot describe the amazing experience I had. If you want to meet amazing people, see beautiful places, learn about others and yourself, develop new skills, and have a lot of fun… GO FOR IT! But I have to warn you, leaving will be very, very hard. You'll work 4 hours a day, and you'll be able to choose your shift with the other volunteers, which makes it easy to plan your lessons and free time around. In addition, the apartment is very nice. Ci vediamo presto Le Vie del Vento 🫶🏾

It's a beautiful location with incredibly kind and outgoing people. The work is very relaxed. We were a bit shocked by the condition of the apartment since the previous volunteers had left it quite dirty and broken. After texting Andrea a few times most of the things got fixed. This place is perfect for learning the host and it's such an amazing sport. There is not a fixed number of Kite lessons. You need to ask each time, but if you are outgoing it's not a problem. I can absolutely recommend it to any ocean lover and everyone who want to live the island lifestyle for a few weeks :))

Never do this volunteering! I've just finished my time with Andrea and his team, and I can only warn you: you'll arrive as a stranger and leave with tears in your eyes. You'll share a simple flat with strangers who quickly become family. Days are sun, laughter, and kitesurfing (which you'll hate at first, then love). Nights are stories you'll never forget. It's not just volunteering, it's adapting, learning, and falling in love with Sicily and the people who make it magic. Thank you Andrea, see you soon (maybe Brazil 🇧🇷🎉). Amoni!!!

This was an amazing experience Andrea is a legend of a host and the community he's made are awesome. I was lucky enough to be there with some good wind so I was able to do my lessons before and after my shifts then eventually get to the point of working on tricks. If you're wanting to get stuck in to the kite life for a while I can't recommend this place enough, just be prepared that if you live with great volunteers and fall in love with the sport like me, you're gonna have a hard time leaving. 🤙

My stay here was amazing, Andrea and the staff, environment, and everything from meeting the best people/getting to learn new skills. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be a in a great local town and and be around a very unique community. While I was here the work hours were always respected and the information was clear and taught well through the beginning. You will also have the chance to get lessons for kite surfing through your experience and have a great time doing it. I have already booked my return date because of the amazing opportunity this was. Can't wait to be back!!!
