What a privilege to come here as an intern for a second time. Montreal during the summer is amazing and having all kinds of different shifts with activities made it so special. I had the fortune of working with both interns and staff so it was even better this second time. I felt so happy I could practice and improve all my languages everyday. The work was always fair as was the schedule. Shout out to Diarmuid and Ian for being so flexible with it. This is an amazing internship that sets the bar extremely high. I look forward to coming back next year.

What can I say? It was my second time as an intern at the hostel and I ended up extending again as it was as awesome as the first time! All the shifts are pretty easy and you really have enough time to explore the beautiful city, partly also during shifts like leading social activities like different walks or the pub crawl. I wish I could stay longer but life takes me back to Germany now. I leave with a heart full of amazing memories and a second found family.

My first Worldpackers volunteering experience couldn't have been better. the hostel was an amazing experience. The team made me feel welcome from day one (I'll truly miss everyone), the tasks were well organized and everything was exactly as described on the platform. The multicultural environment made it easy to meet people from all over the world and build new friendships. This experience helped me grow personally, practice new languages and gain the confidence to keep traveling and volunteering. I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity. It was a really great experience and I would always recommend it! The location is great and you can easily travel around to explore the city. And everyone at the hostel is super nice and makes an effort to accommodate to your needs. For example when you want a specific time off, they do what they can to make it possible. And you meet many great people from around the world, both staff and guests.

Volunteering at the hostel was an amazing experience. The staff is really friendly, the hostel has a great structure and offers a lot of fun activities every day. The housekeeping job was demanding and had some stricter rules, but I learned a lot about working in a hotel environment. It was great having Marianna as part of our team for 6 weeks. Her positive attitude and professionalism really added to the intern group and the housekeeping team. This was my very first worldpackers experience and I could not have had a better start.
Everyone was very welcoming, the work was very easy to understand and often a bit less than the 25 hours.
M Montréal is a perfect place to connect with other travelers, volunteers as well as guests. In the end, I found something like a second family in the other volunteers that were there with me and I think almost everyone of us extended their stay.

Can't recommend it enough! I stayed just for 6 weeks but in this short amount of time I met so many amazing people and made lots of friendships! The hostel itself is probably one of the best I've ever been to - very clean and the staff is so kind and welcoming, always there if you want to just have a talk. The location is pretty good as well, you're walking distance from everything you need. The tasks are very easy and straightforward. You will stay in a 14 dorm room but don't worry, each bed has curtains! I really loved my time at the hostel, thank you guys 🫶🏼
