Gardening , building, repairs, household chores , whatever is needed to run our homestead. You would be our extra hands and brains if you will, assisting us in whatever task we do. We will never expect to do anything you are uncomfortable with unless you want to be challenged. We can teach you many skills - loom weaving, stone work, carpentry, organic gardening, baking, art, language art, creative writing etc. Feel at home!-We also have a learning position for an alternative apprentice community builder.
There is no set schedule other than our off-property work for money, but one of us will always be there to guide and to support you. We are generally fairly early risers and would expect you to do the same so we are ready to tackle the day together. Meals are usually leisurely done unless an urgent need requires our attention. Despite our age we are very flexible, indeed. Again, you will be treated like family, and we will make an effort to make your stay memorable.
