The experience

We organize some races for wooden boats and boats maintenance with the intention to sensibilize people on the good choice to use wood instead of fiberglass andwe'd like to let people know it trough good videos and photos. Program Details

🛠️ The Program: Creativity, Tradition & Community
This year, our project focuses on three major and exciting goals: setting up for the Christmas holidays, building our brand-new workshop space, and the restoration and maintenance of traditional wooden boats.
We are looking for volunteers to help us document and capture this journey, but who are also excited to get their hands dirty with us!

* Daily commitment: 5 hours per day.
* Maximum flexibility: Hours can be distributed throughout the day, depending on the best light or the specific moments you want to photograph or film.
* What you will do: The main focus will be creating visual content (photos/videos) to tell the story of our new workshops, the holiday atmosphere, and the work on historic boats.
* Learn with us: If you want to try your hand at manual work, we will be more than happy to teach you traditional woodworking and boat restoration techniques.
* Free time & exploration: We will plan and decide the schedule together. We want the hours to be convenient for everyone, allowing you to have large blocks of free time to explore the beautiful surrounding areas and villages.

Activities & Shift

🤝 Our Philosophy: Collaboration & Community
Our project is built on mutual support and a strong community spirit: here, we are all at each other's disposal. We believe in flexibility and helping one another at all times. Depending on the number of volunteers present, our daily organization may vary: sometimes we will split into specific shifts, while other times we will manage tasks in a more fluid and spontaneous way.
🧹 Daily Tasks for Every Volunteer
Regardless of whether there are specific shifts for bigger projects, there are essential daily tasks for maintaining our shared spaces that require everyone's contribution.
Every day, every volunteer is expected to help with:

* Floor care: Vacuuming the common areas.
* Kitchen tidiness: Washing the dishes and cleaning up after meals.
* Space maintenance: Cleaning and sanitizing the bathrooms.
👥 Shift Management & Team Support
We want this experience to be sustainable and enjoyable for everyone. For this reason:

* Flexibility: If we have enough volunteers, tasks will be distributed evenly to ensure you have plenty of free time.
* Teamwork: If the number of volunteers is not enough to cover all needs, the managers will step in too. In addition to cooking, the managers will join the shifts directly to do cleanings and tasks right alongside the volunteers.

Rules

📋 House Rules & Coexistence
To ensure a pleasant, safe, and harmonious experience for everyone, we ask our volunteers to respect these simple guidelines:

* Quiet hours: We respect everyone's rest.
* Resource consumption: We care about the environment. Please avoid wasting water and electricity, and turn off the lights when leaving a room.
* Outside guests: Bringing outside guests into the property or common areas is not allowed without prior approval from the managers.
* Personal spaces: Keep your room or dorm bed tidy. Respect for personal space is essential for a good community life.
* Food & kitchen: Always clean the kitchen counter immediately after eating or cooking.
* Smoking & substances: Smoking is strictly forbidden indoors (you can only smoke in designated outdoor areas). Alcohol abuse or the use of illegal substances will not be tolerated
