Volunteering at the hostel was a transformative experience. From the beginning, I was warmly welcomed; despite the language barrier, they were always very attentive and respectful of the agreement.

The volunteering experience at the hostel was perfect. Everyone welcomed us warmly, and we felt truly embraced. They are very kind and showed us local food, places, and culture. It was four weeks full of joy and excitement. They delivered everything promised on the platform. The work was easy to do because we had support the entire time, and it was amazing to work with Linh. The hostel is beautiful and comfortable. If you want to truly connect with Vietnamese culture, I 100% recommend this experience. It was one of the best of my life, and I will always carry the hostel family in my heart.

Our family in Vietnam! I recommend everyone to visit Ha Giang and spend their days working and living with the hostel team. They are incredible people who welcomed us very well. We had dinner together every day, introduced us to wonderful food, and visited incredible places during the Ha Giang Loop, and we got a discount for doing so. They allowed us to use the kitchen and ingredients to make other meals. The room was great and we felt very safe and comfortable. We celebrated Women's Day together, sang a lot of karaoke, and were very happy in this place. We hope to return one day! <3

We loved our time with the hostel and couldn't recommend it more! We were welcomed in like family and it was lovely meeting and getting to know both the staff and other travellers who were doing the loop! The hostel itself is lovely and the work is fun and exactly as agreed upon beforehand, with free time in the day to explore the town. The loop itself was incredible, and we want to come back to do it again with the hostel in the future! Definitely recommend this experience to other travellers!!

Beth ist so eine wunderbare Person! Sie hilft immer gern und bringt viel positive Energie in alles, was sie tut. Ihre Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit haben hier im Hostel wirklich einen Unterschied gemacht, und wir sind sehr dankbar, sie als Teil des Teams gehabt zu haben!

I really enjoyed our stay working in the hostel! The staff are absolutely wonderful and you get really passionate about this lovely place. The work is straightforward with content creation and working days are flexible. The food is DELICIOUS. Highly, highly recommend this stay

Cam ist eine wahre Freude, ihn in der Nähe zu haben! Seine Energie ist ansteckend, und er ist immer bereit mit einer lustigen Geschichte oder einer unterhaltsamen Anekdote. Er hat eine natürliche Art, den Raum zu erhellen und alle bei Laune zu halten. Es ist mir eine echte Freude, ihn hier zu haben!

An unforgettable 3 weeks truly experiencing Vietnam and ha giang with the loveliest family at the hostel! Linh was amazing to work with and the work felt really relaxed and straightforward. The food was amazing too and so amazing to get all 3 meals made for you! And to try traditional food. They even made special food for me being vegetarian. We were so sad to leave after 3 weeks but hopefully we will be back one day!

Volunteering at the hostel was such a fun experience! From the start, everyone was super welcoming and made us feel like part of the family. Our main job was creating social media content, and Linh, the manager, was always there to guide and support us. We got to use our skills, pick up some new ones, and even did the Ha Giang Loop at a discount! The food was great, and we loved the family-style dinners. We also happen to be there during the Lunar New Year so we're able to celebrate with the staff and owners. Overall, an amazing place to volunteer—we'd definitely recommend it!

Fue una experiencia traumática, no la recomiendo en absoluto. A mi amigo y a mí nos echaron a los 12 días más o menos, cuándo teníamos que estar más de 20. Sólo nos dijeron que cómo no teníamos un Iphone (literalmente), que los vídeos que hacíamos no eran suficientes y nos echaron. Todo esto cuándo antes de ir preguntamos si hacía falta algun tipo de material, y nos contestaron que no. La comunicación fatal, sólo dos personas hablan inglés y siempre están ocupadas. Sinceramente no sé porqué quieren voluntarios. Si estáis pensando en ir a Vietnam, sí que lo recomiendo, muchísimo!
