I had the opportunity to volunteer here twice actually! in the beginning i stayed with only guys in a room but then i moved to the female dorm which was more comfortable for me. The schedule was done according to my online work which is highly appreciated. Its near the shopping center where you can eat and buy stuff, walking distance to the city center. You need to open the door every time somebody leaves/gets into the hostel. There is a laundry service nearby too. Its generally quiet and clean and the owners are lovely!

Volunteering at the hostel in Curitiba was a bliss. The hostel is in a safe neighborhood super close to the center and also bike rentals. Marco and Mariana, the hosts are such nice, generous and friendly people who made sure I enjoyed my time in Curitiba. Also pretty flexible with hours, and the tasks are easy too. Super grateful for your hospitality! I also had lots of opportunities to practice Portuguese with guests.I would definitely recommend this project to someone who wants to explore Paraná and Curitiba

The hostel is a strong local presence of welcome and local cultural immersion here in downtown Curitiba, so there are learning opportunities and exchanges of experiences with those who are from Paraná as well as with those from outside the state or country. A welcoming and very rewarding environment. As my very first volunteering experience, I recommend it.

I really enjoyed my time at hostel! The place is super clean, airy and very well located — just a short walk from the historic center and the Oscar Niemeyer Museum; you can do everything on foot. It’s close to markets and there’s a good buzz for those who love big cities. The hours were relaxed and the flow of foreigners is quite nice. It’s a pity there weren’t many volunteers when I was there, but it was still a very calm and pleasant experience. The tasks are simple, basically reception and a little help with cleaning. Curitiba is a great city for sightseeing — but people are a little reserved.

There are no words to thank Marcos and Mariana, they are amazing people. My stay was very good at that place, I met many nice people, the city is beautiful, and the location is great. It was my first experience as a volunteer, and my first time outside my country. Marco and Mariana were excellent hosts; I really have no complaints. They helped us with every single thing we needed. They made me feel that if I ever return to Curitiba I have a second home to call my own.
