From the very beginning, I felt so warmly welcomed by Lia and the team. I quickly became comfortable being part of the daily life there. I really enjoyed helping both in the garden and in the café, and it was lovely to see how well the whole team works together. It was a wonderful first volunteering experience, and I'm really grateful for the time I spent there. Definitely a place I would recommend — and one I would happily come back to one day! 🌿🌸

I loved my time at the host. It is such a beautiful place, surrounded by lots of nature and of course a very cold lake haha :) Everyone was very nice and welcoming and the working hours were exactly as proposed. I got a really cool insight into how the café works behind the scenes, which was a great experience. I was there at the end of August, but I imagine it would be even nicer in July because of the warmer weather. We had quite a few rainy days during my stay.

Sorry I missed the review window! We were very grateful for Iris' help! She supported us in the kitchen with preparation and cleaning tasks as well as in the bed & breakfast. She liked to learn about cooking and baking and she is very easy going. Thank you so much again Iris!

I had a great time volunteering at the host! It's such a beautiful place in the middle of swedish nature, directly at the lake. The working environment is really good, the staff members are very friendly and helpful. The tasks are mainly helping with dishwashing, cleaning, housekeeping and some tasks in the kitchen like chopping vegetables. The working hours are always respected. It is great to connect with the other volunteers and do things together like going swimming in the lake, taking the bikes to cute cafés or watching movies together :)

I spent two wonderful weeks in Urshult. Everyone was super nice all the time, they watched out for our well-being and adapted to our requests (including vegan options) and recommended amazing places nearby the café.
The work hours were respected and fun do to, they always asked if i'm okay with the tasks given and told me my free days in advance on the first day of my stay.
The room I stayed in was clean, beautiful and i had plenty of space and time to myself!
I can absolutely recommend the host for everyone who's interested in rural Sweden, nature and meeting a super awesome team there! :)

This experience was amazing! Everyone at the facility is kind, caring and respectful. The tasks mostly include kitchen work, housekeeping and cleaning, but the staff always consider your preferences and strengths when assigning tasks. Everything is clearly explained and you can always ask questions. The team shares delicious vegetarian/vegan lunch and dinner together. It was also great to meet other volunteers and spend time in staff facilities, which are cute and well-equipped. The rural setting is peaceful with beautiful nature and a lake nearby. I definitely recommend it!

I spent two weeks at the host and they were absolutely wonderful! everyone from the staff was incredibly nice and friendly. as volunteers, we had nice and cozy spaces all for ourselves, and the distribution of the shifts always made it possible to hang out with some of the other girls. the food was amazing and healthy, even as a vegan i ate incredibly! wouthe work was fair and the times were absolutely respected. we had time to explore the nature around which is wonderful. 100% recommended!

My time at the host was absolutely amazing, probably one of my best experiences! Everybody is so welcoming and sweet, they are such a nice team and it directly felt like home, even more, I felt like myself in this place! The cozy café, the peaceful surroundings and especially the views are breathtaking and together with the other volunteers we went for a lot of swims and biking tours, which was a lot of fun! The atmosphere was always light- hearted, cheerful and open, which I enjoyed a lot and the team is very caring and appreciative! I was so sad to leave and hope I can come back soon <3

I had an amazing time at the host. It is such a peaceful place and the nature is beautiful! There's a lake to swim in and bikes to explore the area which is super fun. Working hours are as agreed and the garden job was very fun. Amazing experience, would love to come back one day!

I had two wonderful weeks in Sweden and truly enjoyed my stay. I immediately felt very welcome, and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. One of the highlights was spending time with the other volunteers, as well as enjoying the delicious food together. The working hours were exactly as agreed beforehand, and everything was explained clearly. Whenever I had a question, I could always ask, and I felt well supported throughout my stay. This was my first experience with Worldpackers, and I can definitely recommend it:))

I absolutely loved my stay in the host. I even extended because I felt there like home. Everything is so well organised, everyone was so kind and caring. I really admire the thought behind the project and everyone there. Lia and Markus are truly good explainers and I appreciate what a big trust they had in me. The communication was perfect. I really loved my work and stay there. (Especially my mowing tractor). I can 1000 times recommend and I hope I can be back next summer! All the love!
