We spent two amazing weeks with Jorge y Marina !! They were so welcoming we felt like home the whole time ! The tasks were what we expected and we were really in their lives doing what they do everyday. I would recommend them 100% with no hesitation. One thing tho you need to speak at least a bit of spanish and be fit if you come in march as you will be doing a lot of wood work 😋

11/10. Marina is simply exceptional! I had a complete experience in Patagonia, far beyond the volunteering I imagined. She not only offers a exchange, shares her story, teaches about Magallanic culture, makes sure to share her knowledge and welcomed me in such a genuine way that I felt part of her family. It is rare to find someone so generous, who strives to share so much and allows us to know a place beyond the tourist gaze. The Estancia? It looks like a movie set! I signed up for two weeks and ended up staying three. I miss it already 🤍

Volunteering at the farm was a very educational experience. I had the opportunity to learn about and perform tasks typical of the countryside and of working with animals in unique Patagonian landscapes. Marina and Jorge welcomed us with great kindness and generosity in their home. Without a doubt, I will remember the days at the farm with much affection and gratitude. Our volunteering experience on this farm was unique. Cutting firewood, feeding chickens, mending fences, guiding sheep, and moving cows taught us about the real life in the countryside. But the landscapes of Tierra del Fuego were magical, endless skies and sunsets that connected us deeply with nature. We are tremendously grateful to Marina and Jorge, exceptional hosts who made us feel like family. Sharing these experiences together was a true pleasure. We hope to return soon. My experience was quite pleasant at the farm, immersing myself in local life and learning through contact with nature was very positive. Jorge, who was always very attentive in the tasks and with pleasant conversations. I would like to highlight Marina who immersed me in the life of Magallanes with its diverse customs. Undoubtedly it was an experience that taught me a lot, from an awareness of the work in southern Chile, as well as work with animals. I recommend it if you are looking for that connection, being able to explore the surroundings of Patagonia and feel the warmth of the farm 🙌🏼🙌🏼
