It was a very special experience for me; Jeni is a very nice host, super welcoming, and I felt at ease from the start. The other volunteers were essential to making my experience as good as it was, and the space is super cozy and relaxed. Even though I already knew Ilhabela, I explored new places, did beautiful hikes, visited waterfalls, made friends I'll take with me and I connected a lot with the place. Anubis 🐶 is a sweetheart and made everything even more special! I liked it so much that I extended my stay for a few more days and I plan to return in a few months. Just gratitude for everything I experienced here!

I was able to start this volunteer season on the right foot by choosing the guest house Gaia as my first volunteering of the year. The guest house Gaia became a beloved home for me during the time I stayed; I cared for the space with a lot of affection, and it taught and nourished me a lot.
