Program Details
For us it is important that it be an exchange and collaborative experience in which we enrich each other.
In spring, primary schools arrive during the week and we need to attend to them and help with cleaning and tidying the kitchen. We also have to clean, tidy, and prepare the accommodations every time the weekend groups of adults who come on weekends leave. If you haven't seen the website of the foundation we manage, visit www.tierrahabitada.org
In the orchard and the garden there will be work to prepare the soil, sow, transplant, and remove weeds...
There will also be construction tasks.
We also need help with domestic tasks: cleaning, maintenance, cooking (following a mindful, respectful, healthy diet and open to new recipes) and, when it is cold, carrying firewood and splitting branches (we have an oil-fired boiler, but we prefer to heat with firewood to live sustainably and connected to the Earth).
It's always good to do maintenance and painting work. If you have skills in restoring, sanding, and painting furniture, this is your place.
No prior experience is required in these tasks. At the beginning one of us will explain and accompany you in the tasks.
Activities & Shift
We ask volunteers for a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with flexibility.
