I loved my experience at the project because I learnt more about meditation, improved so, made great friends with the other volunteers, I enjoyed work in the kitchen, Pablo the head chef was really chill and lovely. The countryside surround the project is gorgeous to go for walks/ runs and there's a local park that have good exercise machines. I loved the food because I love veg (lots salads and legumes). This place is great is you are seeking tranquility, okay with silence and are open to the teachings of Buddhism. “Days off” are your arrival and departure dates.

My experience was great! I worked in social media and the team was really nice to work with. There was always something to do, but never overwhelming and schedules were respected. The center is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the nearby town is also lovely. On days off, it's easy to get to Madrid (about 1 hour by bus). At first, I had a bit of difficulty as a vegan since many dishes included milk or eggs, but after a few days the kitchen team adapted, which made a big difference (thanksss!). The space is very clean and comfortable. I'd definitely recommend it :)

A good place to meet and help, I've been to several the project and I recommend a little more organization with the volunteers on the days off.

My work exchange at the project was challenging but fruitful! It was filled with great people, a positive mindset, stillness, nature, hard work, nutritious food, and many different Spanish accents ☺☺ This opportunity is precious—you never want to leave 🍀 I hope the place stays in good hands and continues to shine.

Thanks to Daniela,Edu,Roberto&Lorena for listening to us when things went South and being comprehensive of our need to leave. We visited this beautiful location in the hopes of learning to meditate better and find a bit of inner peace. Unfortunately, we arrived when all the residents were zone go a UK retreat. The vibe was completely off. Our coordinators on site were cold, would barely talk to us. For more than 2 weeks, I felt constantly (subtly) disrespected. Even if this was challenging, I am grateful for the friends I made, the food, the outside tranquility and learning about buddhism.

We met some wonderful people here at the project Centre. The facilities and the environment are superb. Thank you to Daniela, Roberto, and Eduardo for their attentiveness and availability. The tasks I performed in my role (in the kitchen) were clearly explained, although sometimes I felt like I was working a full-time job rather than volunteering. Anyway, thank you again to Pablo, the chef. I certainly learned a lot, but not necessarily while having a lot of fun. The reception from some of the former volunteers was also quite cold, which surprised me greatly considering the dynamic atmosphere.

I would recommend to have an experience in some the project Center, the experience I will remember, such kind of kindness people you know, in this times of noise, so many people are stressed and for me, was the opportunity to be part of something more bigger and meaningful. I wish to be in contact with others the project Members and make an impact in their lives as they did in my life in Spain.

It is important to know that the project is an educational center of Buddhism, and volunteers have a unique opportunity to receive free knowledge about meditation and conscious living. the project performs a missionary function, and this deserves special respect. Accommodation and food are at a high level, good clean rooms for eight people did not bring me discomfort. The organization of work in which volunteers participate sometimes looks chaotic, we had to perform different tasks during the day, but over time this became a normal production process. I am grateful for the experience gained

The project ambience was peaceful and welcoming! The staff were kind and care about your well being. The work is fair and the hours are well respected. It's important to advocate for tasks you do well in and interest you. You are given the opportunity to engage with Buddhist philosophy through meditations, retreats and talks with Buddhist monks. The food is amazing and nutritious. the project center is a bit far from Centro Madrid but there are buses. I reccommend this place to connect with spirituality and nature and disconnect from city life. I definitely would like to return!
