The experience

Hello, I’m Ayman, born and raised in Little Petra! 🏜️ I host tourists in my cozy Bedouin cave and guide visitors through Little Petra and the Monastery. 🐪 I also have a camel!

I’m looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help me keep the cave in great shape, host guests, run a small shop, collect wood, and support me in growing my business. 🏡🌿 This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Bedouin culture, learn about our lifestyle.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner Arabic or Intermediate English

Between 18 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers
