Program Details

We are a small lodge located in the hills of Guanacaste, on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, about 10–15 minutes by car from a lively beach town.

The property is surrounded by nature, with beautiful ocean views, tropical vegetation and plenty of wildlife. It is a peaceful place, away from the busy town center, so having your own transportation can be useful.

We are looking for volunteers to help us improve and maintain the property.

For the exterior, the help can include planting herbs, maintaining paths and buildings, removing weeds, creating or improving small paths through the property, mowing grass, pruning trees and keeping outdoor areas clean.

For general maintenance, tasks can include painting walls, sanding and treating wood, small repairs, cleaning and improving different areas of the lodge.

The type of help may vary depending on the weather, current projects and your skills. We are happy to adapt the tasks when possible and also welcome people who enjoy creating, building and improving outdoor spaces.

Activities & Shift

Helping hours (Mornings : Monday, Tuesday Thursday, Friday, Saturday) from 8am to 12pm.

Rules

We are a quiet lodge, so we ask everyone to respect our guests, the property and the people living here.

Please keep your room and shared spaces clean, clean up after using the kitchen, and respect quiet hours at night.

No parties, drugs or unauthorized visitors are allowed on the property. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas.

Please respect the agreed schedule and let us know in advance if there is any problem or change. Safety is important: always follow instructions when using tools or helping with maintenance work.

We value a friendly, positive atmosphere, good communication and mutual respect. We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience together.
