Empowering Young Minds: Skill-Building for a Brighter Future

About the experience in: Jinja city, Uganda

South Africa

My time at this orphanage was meaningful but challenging. The host is kind and dedicated to the children, but conditions are basic, with limited resources and structure. Volunteers should be prepared for a challenging environment and unplanned situations. This placement is best suited to those who are adaptable, well-funded, and comfortable working in very modest, humanitarian settings.
